Without a doubt imo. He's coming off back to back signature wins over two prime, top level opponents in Porter and Garcia and holds 2 of the 4 belts in arguably the best division in the sport. In addition to wins over Porter and Garcia, he's got an underrated win over Chaves, as well as solid veterans like Collazo and Guerrero.
He's now officially a battle-tested, proven elite fighter.
I'd rank him somewhere between 8-10 P4P.
F*ck no.
He lost to Porter and couldn't even beat Garcia half as convincingly as Herrera did.
I have to agree with this...I felt Porter won that fight! Keith's not dominating his opponents at the elite level...he's a great back and forth fighter.
For sure. He's proven to be one of the best fighters. Better resume than GGG although probably not the better fighter overall. Better resume than Crawford, Lomachenko, etc....
Overall, yes but again he has done nothing at welterweight and we are ranking welterweights. Bradley's welterweight resume is lacking of quality welterweights. An old Marquez is his best win. Not to crap on Marquez but that's it, Tim was fine making those Pacquiao paydays
remember bradley up in weight... what would thurman do at 154?
regardless, neither tim or keith are in the top 10
Bradley's overall resume craps all over Thurman's.. remember Bradley has beaten champs in 2 weight divisions. Thurman would be hard pressed to move up to 154 and beat those champs

Absolutely! Regardless if he is not scoring the KO's you want to see can't deny him Top 10 P4P especially when many have guys in their Top 10 P4P List who literally haven't fought ANYBODY!
Thurman might literally be the 4th best welterweight right now. Manny, Brook, Bradley all have better wins then Thurman at 147. Many feel he didn't beat porter and Danny hasn't done jack at 147. And i didnt even add spence who people think is better and beats all these guys. Fact is when Floyd retired he left a huge void and a ton of free belts up for grabs. Thurman already got these empty belts because of politics but isn't close to filling the void. Thurman and a ton of other guys are in the mix to fill that void. Thurman needs to beat the winner of brook/Spence or beat Manny before he separates himself at 147 and then he will be in everyone's top p4p lists.
Almost nobody thinks Bradley beat Pacquiao so other than that what "better wins" does Bradley have at 147 over Thurman? Other than Porter who has Brook beaten?
Did we watch the same fight? Thurman was trying to punch after getting hit while off balance and he does it quite often. What you mean he doesnt get clocked? Everyone gets hit. Yea bradley have better feet and upper body movement IMO.
How are you going to tell me for certain that Thurman a better boxer than bradley?
I don't think you actually understand what Thurman is doing when he does this.
Here's a hint:
It's the same reason why he at times finishes his combos with a jab.
There's a lot of good things Thurman does that people don't seem to recognize or give him credit for for whatever reason.
When I say clocked I'm talking about clocked like vs Provodnikov and Vargas. When did you see Keith last night get clocked like that while he was getting wild?
I love Bradley but he's not p4p. Further, both Thurman and Garcia would beat him. And a few other welters. The Jessie Vargas win is decent at best. And the Marquez win was four years ago. Bradley is trending way down.
I don't understand why people keep putting Bradley on their p4p list. Bradley has done very little lately and certainly not enough at 147 to warrant this.
Bradley will not fight either Thurman or Garcia and would lose to both.

Brook doesn't have a better win but i think he's a better boxer. I would put him behind Spence too if we were just looking at skills.
These guys were already p4p. Fight fans are just conditioned to accept or believe things that, if they really thought about it, makes no sense.
Pretty much....
Have you watch Thurman's upper torso movement? Apparently not. Bradley quicker feet? That's highly debatable.
Then you go on to talk about Thurman's wildness. Do you know who Bradley is? That's the king of exchanging and getting wild. Do I need to point instances where this has happened? You talk as if you know your boxing so surely you know what I'm talking about, right?
The difference is Thurman knows how to get wild and minimize the punches he takes while Bradley doesn't. When have you seen Thurman get wild and get clocked like Bradley has? Last night would be a good example to look at.

Bradley can make a claim only knock on his resume is he can't beat Manny a all time great. Losing to Manny is no shame as basically everyone except Floyd has Ls to Manny. If Thurman fought Manny all those times except Bradley he would have multiple loses on his record. Bradley was on everyone list for a reason if you want to knock him low or off the list because of age and inactivity I'm cool. But dont compare him to danny thats just stupid. Danny forfeited any p4p consideration when he got schooled by Herrera and hasn't done jack in almost 4 years since and was nothing but a paper champ at 147. Nobody talked about Danny as a serious p4p fighter in almost half a decade for a reason.
Agree to disagree
So you would take Thurman over Spence right now???
If I had to bet money on the fight I'd bet on Thurman since he's the more proven fighter.
Does Spence look like he could be phenomenal? Definitely, he just hasn't really proven anything yet.
Nah.
I thought Porter beat him.
I also have stated for years that Garcia should not be thinking about 147. He's very basic and too small, all the good fughters at 147 beat him comfortably.
