Just watching the guv`nor now on Netflix, has anyone else watched it, I remember watching some of his fights before, was he ever in an official sanctioned boxing fight? Or was it all unsanctioned fights, bare knuckle and anything goes fights he was in?
Also what did ye think if ye watched it, ?
And do you think he would of made a good (sanctioned)boxer ?
Edit: nope he wasn't a sanctioned boxer, just an animal ha
Lenny McLean was a street bully who would have gotten his ass handed to him by any real pro.
This is what happens to "English hardmen" when they come face to face with the real thing:
He was just in it for drug money haha
Put it this way
Got given Lenny's book
I read it in two days and ordered Roy Shaw's right away
Yeah Roy is a right loon
Tore a prison cell door off with his bare hands
Ya, heard they chipped some of his brain away in broadmore to "calm him down" haha
Ya his son was annoying me a bit alright, ya I might do, I heard roy shaws book is supposed to very good also,, a right looper I say ha

Take it you haven't played many video games in like the last 10 years?
Not many no. Tell me, does this isaac clarke character also spend the majority of his time hating ggg...or does he have better things to do?
If he could have made it in the pro's, he would have. Why would he choose underground fights for little money if he could have been making stacks in the pros?
What's that gay robot looking thing you have as your avi?

I had to look him up cause I really didn't know who he was but from reading about him maybe that was just the life he enjoyed thus never going pro? Like I said, Idk him so Idk if he was any good or not but it's possible that he was so involved in that type of life that he just couldn't get away from it.
I'm gonna have to look up this documentary up. Certainly sounds like an interesting dude. I don't have Netflix so I have to find another source. I'll see if Amazon Video has it.
EDIT: Amazon is the sh*t but f*ckers don't have it. Lame.

O and he was in prison for gbh and stuff, and was a bit mental, don't think he would have got a license anyway, but he was fighting for like the krays and all those gangster types (the same way Bronson did) so maybe their was more money in unlicensed boxing (at that time)..
Sure 30 thousand people showed up for the 2nd or 3rd fight against shaw

Have you watched it?
It's a good documentary, he moved on to become a professional unlicensed boxer, before that he beat roy shaw (2ce) who I think was a professional for awhile before being certified insane and sent to broadmore...
Those unlicensed boxing fights were BRUTAL to say the least, and a lot like the old style fights...
Great documentary anyway
