You have to hand it to these 2. The last fight was the best of their fights together. It was an all out war. Blood and guts showcased by true warriors of men. As a Pacfan, It was heartbreaking what happened to Pac, nonetheless, the 4th fight was one of the best fights in boxing.
Wouldn't you want to see them go at it one more time?
This was pure epic. The true essence of boxing and why people watch it.
The 4th fight was one of the greatest fights I've ever seen in my life. One for the books indeed.
2 legends going all out.

Now that we've established in this poll that Marquez should hang up his gloves and just retire for his old age has caught up to him.
Marquez should hang it up if he has no plans of fighting Pacquiao again. It's the only fight that would give him top dollar, some say even 100 million, and if he fights others, it will only show he's quacking fighting for chump change rather than fighting Pac for a big payday.
Pacman is ok ,but JMM is old and his knee is ****ed ,and he would need legs to fight Pacman ,nah it would be freakshow
Interesting to see there are still some who wants to see the 5th fight, but yeah, the truth is Marquez is too old at this point. Pacquiao will steam roll him with that fuvked up knee (sign of old age) if they fought again.
The ship has sailed. Everyone has to retire at some point. Funny thing is Marquez still wants to fight as long as it's not Pacquiao in the ring lol

Wow, it has been almost 5 years. I would have been all for it immediately, or even after he looked OK beating Alvarado. Like you say, they always made evenly matched, exciting fights.
But JMM has basically been retired for years. We have no idea what he would look like.
Ship has sailed. move on.
No. To win, JMM has to always KO Pacquiao. I thought Pac-JMM III was the best time to give it to JMM on the scorecards and they didn't give it to him. I had JMM winning 9 rounds to 3. The 4th fight probably feels surreal for JMM and he wants to end it like that and not on another bad decision.
I respect him turning down $60million offer and saying that not even $100mill would change his mind. It's not about money to him. Fans complain that there are too many money hungry fighters, here's a guy who really doesn't care. He got his win and closed that chapter.
Basically this.. how bout a trade deadline deal?
This thread is kind of silly. Only pac fans like the TS want to see another fight because they hope they can erase the image of the KO.
Sorry it wont.
Manny should fight the winner of Thurman/Garcia or Spence/Brook next to clean out the division.
It was probably Manny's best performance up until the KO. He seemed to have Marquez figured out this time and was landing with the left hand regularly. He would have won by decision or potentially TKO if he didn't walk into that punch. One of the best fights I've ever seen.
I had JMM-Bradley a draw tbh. Bradley won the judges over by raising his hand at the end of every round.
Really ?!
I thought Bradley won that fight soundly. Marquez was swinging and missing so much in that fight. He looked really befuddled by Bradley's movement.
Marquez fluked that KO and it's obvious he knows that as well.
He was getting battered towards the end of that fight and was about to get stopped, and he scored the luckiest punch of his career....
When was the last time a fighter won by KTFO and wouldn't rematch for a huge sum (especially when he hasn't earnt a dollar in years)?
Sums it up!
It's better to leave things as they are and remember those epic fights without a fifth one to sully the memory. Look at Ortiz v Berto, the second fight was disappointing. They;re both just too old and jaded by now to maintain that level of hunger and work in the ring.
i thought the second ortiz berto fight was good. 2 bums going at it. both bums got knocked down. one bum stayed down. the other bum won. what more can you want from 2 bums. one of the bums even earned himself a shot at floyd for beating the other bum.
