Dude has absolutely NO SKILLS. This football reject who started boxing late, was schooling Deontay. So was that bum Scpilka.
but damn that punch though..... Holy ****. Ya Larry Holmes, Ali etc had more skills but they didn't have the bomb Deontay does. Deontay can lose every single round and BOOOOOOM...... fight over. and he can land it too. that chit he landed on that Polish dude was thrown into a needle hole.
He detonates that right hand it's over. Once Stivern tasted that power he wouldn't even open up anymore.
Dude is much more powerful than a prime Foreman even.
Schpilka was top 10
Wilder has never fought a top oppnent. Stivern is his best opponent and confidently, he's the one guy he didn't stop.
Wilder has never faced anyone who was a threat.. No one gave Szpilka or Washington a chance in them fights but ironically, he was losing them fights before he stopped them.
His power cannot be disputed.. But his boxing ability is average at best.
Wlad doesn't have Stivern's chin. And his reflexes are shot to chit at 40.
DW would be odds on favorite to land that right hand over 36 minutes.
Haye has no chin and is smaller. Haye is not a boxer either. He fights long range just like Wilder. He relies on jumping in to ambush. Wilder is only younger, lengthier, stronger and more powerful. Wilder also has a better chin. Haye got KOed before.
Fury at this point is a wash. Next fight, he will be off PED's. we all know how all those fighters crash when they get caugh ton PED's. RJJ Jr. Fernando Vargas. etc etc
AJ is a threat. But it's a 50-50 fight. AJ can outbox Wilder but Wilder has the bigger gun in this fight.
Stivern has been dropped by crappy opposition so I don't think he has a granite chin.. Says alot about Wilder power. He has it but doesn't have the skill to execute it when the level of opposition gets higher.
He looked awful last night. He is looking rubbish and getting exposed by these nobodies.. That tells me he will be in trouble against all the names I mentioned.
So much cancer in this thread! .... Wilder has never knocked out a world class opponent, he hits very hard but you have to show that power against quality fighters not Ex football players to be taken seriously in any all time discussions.

I think he definitely has the most powerful one hit punch in boxing currently.
But it's not enough.. He lost all the first 4 rounds against Washington, was losing Spizlka fight.. His power saves him but against someone with good defence and chin, he's gonna be in trouble.
With all his power, he still couldn't stop Stivern.. Stivern is durable but a average fighter at best. Vlad, AJ, Ortiz, Haye and Fury are all too much for Wilder.

What Wilder does is legit strategy imo.
A lot of guys use it. In MMA there's a guy called Yoel Romero. Cuban wrestler dude. He almost always sandbags in the 1st and 2nd round. Usually loses them.
Then goes apechit and scores highlight reel KO's in the 3rd.
Ah, yes....now I'm getting you. C and D level boxers change the laws of physics and boxing theory when they step into the ring.
What ****ing planet do you live on?
correct. just because Julian Jackson beat a lot of nobody's don't mean his punching prowess is discredited.
Foreman hurt people with glancing punches. He might have killed people if he used his full mass.
he is incapable because he simply does not have Deontay's fast twitch movements.
if he is capable of throwing a lightening fast, tight straight and 1 punch people. he would do it.
Of course you're right. There's no technique behind power, only size. :lol1:
You can't tell how hard someone is hitting by looking at their load, trajectory, or impact, only the size of their massive glorious muscles. :lol1:
I think you've fetish more than a viable boxing theory. Big Man doesn't utilize size the same way the Small Bomb does. George doesn't even know how to throw a punch utilizing his full mass.
Ever seen George stumble because he missed like Marciano? Exactly, Foreman doesn't put enough behind it to launch himself....it might be hard for you to accept but 175 lbs of full body punching hits harder than 260 lbs of hip torque. Place that sort of power on a fighter with the fist the size of Marciano and you get a fighter who is more likely that not going to knock you out so hard he break bones and leaves you permanently damaged causing you to retire with in your next five fights.
How about Ali using LaStarza's technique against George because he knew George couldn't break his elbows like Marciano did Roland's and Moore's?
Do you believe Ali and other HWs from the Golden Era had magic bone structure incapable of breaking? Thicker bones despite that training having died off ironically in the fifties? Of course they didn't.
It doesn't matter if you weight 265, 165, or 65, 1k ft-lbs is beyond the limit of human capacity to endure trauma. It's like saying there's a big enough and strong enough to take a 9mm....no, there isn't. If George could throw that hard he would have and he'd have stats that reflect it. Like breaking bones and forcing retirements. Those don't go to George, they go to Marciano. The hardest hitting HW of all time.
