I'd laugh if Khan lost close questionable decision again. It would be the only time i'd be happy to see a robbery. To be fair, i thought Peterson won the first fight anyway, it was close. Your are correct, Khan DID lose the first fight. It was close, but Khan's constant fouling lost him the fight. I think Peterson beats him again, even in the UK. Khan has not improved, Peterson's inside work could make the difference.

But he was on PEDs. But Lamont was literally chasing khan. And khan couldn't get away. People didn't do that against Floyd.

He was actually the ref in the Pritchard Colon-Terrel Williams fight that put Colon in a coma. Him and the "dude in the hat" bet big on Williams.

Funny enough I just rewatched this fight. Great fight. I was just thinking where the rematch would be. I think Khan takes a close one, 115-113 this time around.

It's about time Khan tried to avenge his losses of so many years ago. Prescott begged him for a rematch countless times and Khan should have obliged him. He might beat the average punching Peterson with a home country advantage. Garcia will never come to England for him and his power and skill will KO Khan again in my opinion. Why would Lamont Peterson even make such an agreement? Assuming he wins his fight this week, he instantly becomes mandatory challenger to the title unification fight between Thurman and Garcia (with the timing of the situation likely meaning that the fight would happen come June/July). Even assuming that he gets beat, that'd be a 90-95 day turnaround between fights for Peterson (1-2 weeks off, another hard 8-week camp, travel to adjust for the time zone difference, and then a hard weight cut to the fight). And that's assuming that nothing happens to Peterson, physically, in his coming fight (33 years of age, and 16 months off between fights, opens up the chance for some silliness to happen), let alone any talk of how the money would be split up.

Or should we just gloss over that because it happened in America? Hearn appears to have more sway with the WBC lately. Anyone who can count on 450,000 mongoloids buying a wank PPV for £16.95 gets sway with the WBC, that just happens to be Hearn because, credit to him, he markets his fighters better to a more welcoming Market. Spence has already come out on record saying he isnt worried about the judges or hometown scoring. The IBF select the officials and judges. The promoters and management team have no say in who rules over that bout. no doubt people will say Eddie "IBF" Hearn can influence the strictest, fairest sanction body there is :dunce: Hearn appears to have more sway with the WBC lately.

The winner of Avanesyan-Peterson will be the WBA mando right? Just shows why Peterson turned down the Spence fight, much easier route to a more significant title fight. And is Khan still the WBC mando?
