Anybody every else NOT INTERESTED in Chavez Jr vs Alvarez?

I'll watch it, but i'm not exactly counting down the days. All a bit 'meh'.

Actually I would rather see Canelo fight Chavez Sr. :) But I'm still going to watch it.

I would rather have Canelo or Chavez jr fight GGG tbh but I doubt that is gonna happen.

i don't want to buy it, but it's a huge fight in mexico and should be entertaining. i expect GBP to try and monetize canelo as best they can, given all of the information that's come out regarding just how much of a share he has of all of their revenue. he's basically the only consistent earner on their roster. if this will help make the golovkin fight i'll support it. and again, it should be a fun fight with a lot of storylines. chavez is huge, not that hard to hit, has power, and he's not goign to run from canelo. canelo's got some of the best offense in boxing when he's got a stationary target. the fight will be fun if jr is in shape. looking at videos of him train, however, i think chavez hasn't even put his gloves on between fights.

I'll watch it, like I watch pretty much everything else, but it's hardly on my radar compared to all the other great fights that are being made so far this year

Watching Jr get his ass whooped is always fun, so is watching Canelo fight.

LOL, this fight is pretty meaningless. I mean at his best, Jr. was fairly pedestrian, his best asset was he was bigger than his opponent, and he was a tough, relentless dude. But we dont know if hes at his best. BUT, even though Im pretty much a Canelo hater, it may be a fun fight. I dont see Canelo getting Jr. out of there easy. Jr. is tough at least. If he hangs around long enough, maybe Jr. can make it interesting. As much as I dislike Canelo's hijacking of the "MW title", I wont begrudge him making some coin with this publicity stunt of a fight. May as well make some easy money while your ducking challenges at MW. and since Jr. represents so much of what I embody - likes weed, eats too much, is a slacker -- I cant help but pull for him WAR JR!! Meaningless? Bruz, the are fighting for the wbc 'Don Adolfo López Mateos' commemorative belt. Please don't ask what the names are about - perhaps past catchweight hero duckers? That's right ladies, the wbc made a special belt for the 164 catchweight king because he deserved it for ducking Golovkin. You know when you ask yourself 'where the f-ck did it all go wrong?' Well, creating a belt for a fight that shouldn't even be on ppv is a good place to start looking.

I'd rather see Alvarez fight Andrade or Charlos or another top 154, or a top middleweight, and not weight-class-less Chavez jr. Would rather see Chavez Jr fight a named 168 pounder like Bute, Quillian, hell i'd even take Arthur Abraham. I don't want to see this fight..am I the only one? Me. I'll watch it if i'm doing nothing else at the time, but not really into the fight, and that's with me firmly believing that if JCC Jr can execute Nacho's gameplan and come prepared, he has a really good chance of beating a very overrated Canelo.

It's no Morales/Barrera. Chavez will be drained. Canelo has no shame.

I generally like fights where I'm not sure who's going to win. This is not one of those fights.

ID like to see it but since I'm retired (fixed income) I won't spend the PPV money. TonyGe come on man, just spend the 60 bucks.

yeah im not interested at all, its too much talent at 154 (well hes technically got his own weight) for canelo to fight for him to be fighting chavez. looks like a promising year but the protection of canelo will have to end sometime. hes a good fighter with a very good resume but lets be honest hes protected.

Unless they are allowed knives in the ring, this fight doesn't interest me - won't be watching. Canelo's name doesn't draw me in enough to get past the fact that it's going to be a mismatch.

Both strong come forward fighters, im looking forward to it and then another all Mexican fight versus Zurdo for the 168 WBO.

I'm not. I don't care what Canelo does until he fights GGG or Jacobs if he beats GGG. Otherwise, I am not going to order, watch or watch a replay of any of his fights.
