I hate all of them but I hate Lampley the least so I guess he gets my vote.

Gil Clancy Agreed and green K'd, Gil Glancy is the guy I learned from the most just by listening to him call fights, he said it like it is and was never cheap or careful with what info to share and wat not like all other trainers and fighters, he was a boxing expert that knew his stuff based on years and years of practical experience, boxing needs more Gil Glancys and no more Larry Merchants.

Lampley cos I got to hear him in my lifetime but Cosell had that distinctive voice and manner.

Lampley doesn't belong in that Category AT ALL! Still Al Michaels for me, heard Al call I think it was Hagler vs Hearns on a Wide World Of Sports replay as a KID. No Bias toward either just calling the action straight down the middle with a lot of excitement for BOTH FIGHTERS so he is STILL the Greatest for me even as a Play By Play football announcer now

Not really a fan of Cosell. I guess if you grew up with him it would be different, but I find his style irritating to listen to it now. Lampley would be very good if he stuck to calling the action. He has a great voice. But he veers off into discussion in too many fights, and his comments become disconnected from what's actually happening in many cases.
