From what I gather from that whole mess was GBP felt slighted and attempted to rally the press for support. They tried to get some Mexican freelancer to get other media sources on board and it appears to have failed.

I'm sure you know people who write for Ring. Dougie Fischer told me himself he isn't allowed to criticize Oscar or Canelo because he works for them. Disney doesn't care if a ESPN employee bashes disney land but Hanza is another employee and he says he hates what Canelo did but he can't criticize him. The bottom line is a racist Golden Boy pawn wrote for this site. He wasn't a GBP employee or a Ring employee. He was a freelancer for them and submitted articles from time to time. He was never a member of their staff, but he was a member of fight news staff. And even if he was a Ring employee, that doesnt make him a GBP employee. That's like saying someone working for ESPN is a Disney employee which they clearly are not. He never said anything racist to us for as long as we've dealt with him. Anything he submitted to us was on Mexican boxing.

I can't find any articles on Ring Magazine written by Hesiquio Balderas. He's mentioned in articles. He's quoted. But I can't find an article that he's written. He has written for Fight News. But I don't think that's owned by GBP. They deleted his entire article archive when these emails surfaced
