Ok so forget all the Mayweather nonsense, errybody knows that MoneyMan would embarass McGregor but lets say McGregor quits MMA and starts focusing 100% on boxing, how far would he be able to go??
Now granted McGregor is already a star and would probably want the big fights asap but if he got like 10 pro fights before fighting for a world title
By now most of us has seen him sparring van Heerden (who was KOed by Spence) and he didnt impress, but what if McGregor got a trainer that taught him the best possible fundamentals to make the full transition to boxing?
Personally i feel some1 like Ronnie Shields (who trains Jerm(a)ll and Erislandy Lara) would be the perfect fit, his fighters are very well taught and he emphasizes alot on the jab, which would be perfect for McGregor to setup up his very powerful Left Hand
So lets consider Conors physical attributes:
Long Reach, Big Power, Natural Southpaw, Good Chin and a unorthodox/awkward style
Imo he has the potential to make the transition if he does it soon, McGregor did start out boxing before going to MMA so he knows a thing or two he just needs the proper guidance
So what u think? I think its doable, but he has to start right away as time is ticking and he has already taken some punishment inside the octagon
You would have to build him up like any other prospect. Put him in there with cab drivers and bouncers until he developed. I think he could become a hype job type prospect. He can't beat any of the top SWW's but after 15 to 20 fights who knows.
Ye thats what i mean, build him up properly, by no means do i think he would be a HOFer but atleast a half decent top tier boxer who may win a world title? should be achievable

McGregor's straight left is very powerful by MMA standards wearing tiny gloves and KOing weaker chinned MMA fighters. I doubt it would be considered such a great punch in pro boxing.
I think his chances of becoming an outstanding pro boxer would be close to zero.Everyone including McGregor knew when he started in MMA that pro boxers made a lot more money than MMA fighters. I heard he was an amateur boxer before he became an MMA pro fighter and he wasn't a good amateur boxer. It's unlikely he would become this great pro boxer if he was a mediocre amateur boxer.
Lmfaoooo! Brutal! I actually came to make a serious comment, but can't after that.
You're gonna cop some serious heat from his fans for this.
I just had a thread deleted cos I was exposing GGG
Look at my evidence
Golovkins recent opponents
a welterweight fresh from recovering from a machete attack
A criminal on house arrest
And now he's going to beat up on a previous cancer patient
When I do it,I'm branded a monster
When golovkin does it,its boxing
Wtf man
Wtf
Put it this way
Victor Ortiz would make him quit
Amir khan would ko him
Hopkins would knock him out the ring
Golovkin would.....have his best opponent to date
