The questions is simple.
All I can think of is Mayweather. Sergio Martinez maybe? but probably was not prime anymore after turning 37. He was 35 when he beat Pavlik and Williams.
Many ATG had more losses than victories after turning 34/35.
Which means that if Golovkin is beaten in the next years a few times doesn't mean he wasn't an ATG. Just means he was old. Look at every ATG's resume and show me how many were still beating everyone after turning 35.
Nobody in any sport was ever in their 'prime' at 35. After 32-33 you learn to handle your physical decline and compensate with smarts. But the height of an athlete's performance, both mental and physical is in the early 30s.

GGG just fighting bums right now in order to beat Hopkins middleweight record. He's just chasing history right now regardless of the calibre of opponents. After he beats the record is when he will move up.
the simple answer is nobody

Floyd wasn't still in his prime at the age of 35; Floyd's "prime" likely ended in 2007, tbh. The only thing was that Floyd's boxing skills were so razor sharp that he could still utterly dominate fighters when the physical tools were starting to fade.
Closest I can think of is Bernard Hopkins, tbh
Mayweather prime at 35????
When did you start watching him fight?
no kidding, feels like mayweather was always in his prime tbh he was so damn ahead of the game.
Ok I knew you would say Bhop... but he got beat five times after turning 35. Not the best example I'm looking for.
Wlad was a cheater, that's the only way he managed to win at an old age. Fouling all the time. He got beaten by Fury who many woudln't even consider a top3 HW before that fight.
Archie Moore is a good example.
Losing doesn't mean you can't still be prime. He beat Oscar, Tarver, Pavlik etc and unified the belts at lhw. You're acting like he was shot or something.
_Maxi your wording is horrible. Nobody is in their prime at 35. Some guys are able to continue fighting at a high level because they take care of their bodies and are intelligent, experienced fighters.
Mayweather definitely showed no physical decline. At 39 he was as fast as he'd ever been, his legs still fresh. Honestly, I've compared his prime movement with his "past prime" movement and his legs are still as strong and fast, he can make the same moves, and his stamina is the same. Since his come back I even got a floyd boy in agreement with me that he was more powerful and stronger at welterweight post comeback.
Only fight Mayweather actually looked old is vs Berto. Dunno if he just didn't train as much or juice as hard. But with that said I'm not sure that can be all PED's, I mean keeping father time away with PED's in his late 30's? Maybe I've been underestimating them, but likely genetics in play too.
Work ethic pluse PEDs and ofc good genetics thats right, nobody will say me this guy was so fresh at this age with no PEDs,ecpecialy that he is training so much ,he would get washed up just from this work in gym LMAO.

Floyd used PEDs so I don't care about it. Using PEDs you can succeed at an old age.
It depends what you call prime,Floyd wasnt in his peak ,but prime maybe ,expiriance+Athletism he had left, ppl who are laughing at you are idiots who think only theyr definition is right,we can say he was still prime,as Pacquiao was ,they both definitly was takeing something, floyd pictures on scales post 30 look better then in mid 20.
But you shouldnt be suprised with this reaction cuse it real looks like you are looking for excuse for GGG(not saying you are),GGG have 3 very good years left.
Martinez knee was injured before a fight but 12 raund was nail in the coffin, surgery's and **** he never recovered,Moore is best example doe.
easy
Rehydration is the cornerstone of treatment for cholera. Oral rehydration salts and, when necessary, intravenous fluids and electrolytes, if administered in a timely manner and in adequate volumes, will reduce fatalities to well under 1% of all patients.
When you only cut 3 pounds you don't need IV's to rehydrate.
Is Golovkin an ATG now? No, so yes it does mean he wasn't an ATG.
Golovkin hasn't fought A level fighters which means we don't know how good he actually is, if he retires without ever beating an a-level fighter he's not an ATG. Sorry
That's your POV and I can agree with that. I see a little beyond resume. There's a reason he had trouble getting elite fighters in the ring with him and that reason is not his fault, but we have different opinions on that matter so it's ok.
