Pacquiao's 2009 was also great. Fighter of the years since Martinez won it hasn't been that great TBH. I mean, there's been great wins and great performances against a single opponent, but no fighter as had two in a year.
Yeah I agree. Crawford got it in 2014 for beating Gamboa and Ricky Burns, which says it all about where boxing is right now.
