So how likely do you guys think this is? I just heard last nights bout was a WBC eliminator, had no idea when watching it. So, does Wilder take the fight or look for another journeyman?
depends, if wilder thinks he is a threat then no. If he thinks its a walkover then he'll take the fight.
Wilder isn't looking for anyone on or above Molina's level lol
Whyte is improving in every fight he said in an IFLTV interview as an amateur and pro he's only had 29 fights.
I think Whyte v Wilder could be massive and fun to watch the build up etc and in the ring Whyte would test Wilders suspect jaw and probably stop him in the later rounds.
Whyte is genuinely improving and once the Chisora rematch is out of he way (no guarantee for him to win that) the Wilder fight should be next.
Who is Wilder fighting next?
there arent any. Dont know where larry is seeing all this supposed hype...
There was a poster a while back who insisted that Whyte was better than Carlos Takam both skill wise and resume wise. That's about the only time I've seen him 'hyped' if that counts.
Who's hyping him? He fought a WBC eliminator. Who is WBC Champ? Wilder. The two should thus fight.
Again, what hype? Fact is, Whyte in fighting AJ and Chisora already has a better resume than Deontay The Bum Bomber Wilder :boxing:

Great resume getting KTFO and arguably losing to journeyman Cheezora.
Whytes current comps record is 254 wins with 267 losses why the hell are yall hyping this guy?

He is pure dog sh1t...what is the hype???

He's not shiet but he certainly isn't impressive in any way. Very crude skills, low ring IQ and average power and speed. He's dumb as a bunch of rocks and that can help you overcome odds when the deck is stacked against you, but any decent fighter who can punch takes him out. That includes Joshua (obviously), Wlad, Ortiz, Parker, Wilder and probably Fury (retirement on stool likely).

Whyte is sh1t..not sure how he is anything beyond a journeyman

Whyte is better than all Wilder fought till now.
No he isn't. Stiverne, Duhaupas and Scott have as much of a claim to being Wilder's best opponent. That's assuming you think Whyte legitimately beat Chisora.
Wilder facing Whyte would be a step back, but that's no surprise considering that's what Wilder is known to do.
The Stiverne-Povetkin fight is tomorrow and if Povetkin wins (which I say happens), then Wilder would probably prefer to face Whyte.
Shoot, Parker said that he would like to fight Wilder and something tells me that it won't even come to fruition.
not likely at all. Hearn signed up for one reason and one reason alone.
AJ v Whyte 2. 2017.
Hearn can't sell that after Wilder KO's him.
I doubt it. AJ v Wlad is the big one and if Whyte has gotten some names under his belt by then, there may be a rematch but as of this moment, AJ v Whyte 2 isn't a reasonable or even worthwhile fight for AJ.
I think so too. It was a great HW match and I had Chisora winning that fight.
Me too but Im not sure if Chisora can get motivated and be in the same sort of shape he was in that fight for a second time.
