Spence just gave an interview posted on bscene, saying the purse bid for Brook even be until February and they won't negotiate til then. In fact Spence says he may take a stay busy fight in January.
So their fight has to be before the end of May realistically. No way Sky run PPV fights consecutively theee months in a row.
I presume Sky PPV dates are going to factor in, Hearn will want to make it PPV. Start of March you have Haye/Bellew, hes looking to have Joshua/Klitschko in April, if Degale wins he'll want to make Degale/Smith PPV. Looking at it like that, maybe start of April or in June.
Haye and Joshua PPVs in March and April respectively, surely late June at the earliest. I expect DeGale to face GGG after a possible Haye van Ortiz PPV late summer, say DeGale/GGG in October.
Their was talk of a long rest for AJ yesterday after this fight I'm not sure we've to expect the AJ fight with Klitschko as early as April yet.
When is Brook expected to face Spence ?
Kessler fought the IBF champion Froch whilst holding the WBA regular.

Doubt this'll be a main event. Will probably be on the undercard for Brooks next fight.

Too bad the WBA regular champion can't unify , The winner of this vs the winner of saturday WBO was the move to make

I'm thinkng Ortiz is going to be exposed when Briggs chin-checks him.
I'm takin the cannon by KO in round 5.
Briggs is going to get hurt, maybe if it was 10 years ago it would be a entertaining fight for a few rounds but Briggs is so old, stiff, slow and roided out he has zero chance of seeing the 3rd round imo.
At least the pre fight antics should be entertaining and at least give Ortiz some kind of personality by default.
If Hearn is having the UKAD doing testing Briggs should psss the tests to fight, Klitschko will have to insist on VADA testing for Joshua after the corrupt UKAD swept Fury's test under the carpet for the lucrative PPV to go ahead.
This will be an execution rather than a fight
that's what I'm thinking about the fight to, most people here are excited but I see this just as bad as Ortiz-Allen
