Seems a little early for Baby Hughie but godspeed to the Little Big Man...
lol these threads are so political. British fans better not say H.Fury is a bum or green after he gets KTFO'd. Bad career move but the Fury's might be desperate enough to put out a sacrificial lamb.
Ho, Hum. Another cherry pick defense of his WBC world title by cherry picker Wilder. Wilder talks a good fight but he only fights low ranked guys with next to no chance to win. He has yet to defend his title against a top 10 contender. In fairness to him it wasn't his fault the fight with the Russian fell through. He is supposed to select his opponent from the WBC top 15 contenders and Fury isn't among them. Wilder will knock him out if the fight happens. Fury has his fans but who did he ever beat that was worth a damn? He hasn't earned a title shot but that never stopped Wilder. There are many better heavyweights Wilder could fight instead. Boxrec ranks Fury number 36 in the world. That's about right and about where most of Wilder's challengers are ranked.
Hughie is being sent to slaughter to build a higher profile fight with the larger of the Furys.
Sounds good to me.
Yep pretty much. Cool with me if it leads to Wilder/Tyson.
Hughie is a good fighter but his 2 best opponents are Rudenko & Kassi. Both are solid C+ guys & I wonder how the Kassi fight would have went if Fury didn't get that nasty cut. Can Hughie take a big punch? That has not been answered yet. If this fight happens we will soon find out. As the old saying goes everyone has a plan until you get hit...
I think Hughie is a problem for Wilder. Granted it might be a little too soon for Fury, but I think he will still give him fits in certain rounds. Ultimately it might be a touch early for him.
But if you take into consideration that he is 22 years old, undefeated, winning mentality, good ability. That is a dangerous combination - guys like that take some persuading, they don't roll over easy.
I have been watching Hugie for a while and was hoping to see great things from him, but at this point I don't feel like he's ever going to get to "that" level.
He's not particularly rugged, no power, and I can't see him having the qualities that usually trouble Wilder. I hope he does well but I've sort of lost hope in him.

Hughie fury wins it and he wins it comfortably, i believe that 100 percent. Wilder isnt good whatsoever, its so clear to see. That polish guy who was C level was outboxing him until the stoppage, a solid skillful boxer can outbox him all day long. Fury's got solid boxing fundamentals, the size to match wilder and he is going to outbox him, people say its a step up for hughie, but its arguably a step up for wilder fighting someone who actually has a degree of skill couple with size. WIlders been champ for a while but hes fought complete garbage, fury certainly isnt a step down.Team fury also have the best yardstick of how good he is by watching his sparring with tyson. If he was strugglng to hold his own they wouldnt throw him in this early, no need to with his age.
Well let me correct you on 2 instances
:
1. Spzilka was giving problems, yes but he wasn't out boxing or out landing Wilder.. I was there for the fight and Wilder did look clumsy but Spzilka did not do damage on Wilder
2. Hughie is not as good as Tyson and it's pretty evident in how he has been groomed.. He struggled against Kassi and he did not look like he will go full 10/12 rounds.. Also Hughie was offered te fight last year, he said short notice and did not fight..
When this fight materializes, you and I can have a bet- my points against yours..

Now remember what you told me last week : you gave me your list of good names that Deontay Wilder needs to beat to be consider a true champion...so now off this statement I'm including Fury. Thank you. Check.
