Mighty tough If I'm to only pick one I think I'd pick Vitali questionable loss to Lennox Lewis had it gone the entire duration I think Vitali would have likely won on scorecards or If the doctor gave him a stern warning to protect his eye or telling him he will only allow him to fight a few more rounds im 100% certain Vitali would have KOed Lewis badly.
Now for the others
Donaire loss to Magdaleno (ROBBERY!!)
Relikh loss to Ricky Burns (Robbery)
Liborio Solis loss to Jamie McDonell (Robbery)
Darleys Perez draw to Maurice Hooker (Robbery)
Sergey Kovalev loss to Andre Ward (Robbery)
That's all for now thought I'd just keep to recent crap decisions that went the wrong way this year because I could be going on for days about the amount of shiet decisions this sport has handed out to the golden goose with that stupid undefeated label.
This is basically the 'what fight are you saltiest about' thread, in which case I have to say Pac-Marquez 4 .
At least all the memes that came out of that softened the blow.
That was one of the saddest, (non-tragedy) moments I've witnessed in boxing. I wouldn't take it away, but I would urge him not to fight with no legs.
As far as reversals, I'm certain there are much better ones than this but I think Bradley beating Pac was not only bad, but it hurt boxing. It wasn't a Ward/Kovalev, hotly debated sort of thing. It just made boxing look incompetent, and on a big scale.
Yea man. I was thinking as about the question as I scrolled down then read this. paq v bradley 1 was one of those fights that made me think about quiting to be honest.
Whitaker vs Chavez is another, im still pissed about that one.
Ali vs Holmes. Ali shouldn't have been allowed to fight based on medical grounds. He should never have fought on after the war in Manilla.
Margarito vs Cotto 1: That cheat almost destroyed Cotto's career and I dont think Cotto ever achieved what he could have because of this fight.
Not massively important in the grand scheme of things, but David Price seems like a lovely bloke and I'd take away his three unjust losses to the steroid cheats. That way he could already have stepped up to get knocked out by Joshua, got his big payday and ****ed off into obscurity so he isn't cluttering up the UK PPV cards with his glass-jawed uselessness.
Mayweather vs Maidana 1
not really a L
but Sweat Pea Vs Chavez ( whitaker def won that one)
every win that joe calzaghe has because watching him gave me cancer :lame:
Marquez vs Pacquiao 3 (Marquez def won that one)
Pacquiao Vs Bradley 1
De La Hoya Vs Trinidad
You may wanna reread that.
I think you should try rereading it. The guy's first language is obviously not english. I have no problem with what he was trying to say. I was just trying to clarify it for him.
What would it be?
DLH's "loss" to Tito.
Maidana's loss to Devon Alexander.
Kovalev's loss to Ward.
Naseem's loss to MAB.
Bradley's last loss to Pacqiao.
JMM's "losses" to Pacquiao.
Lara's "loss" to Canelo.
Forgot the names, but we just witnessed a huge robbery, the fight with the tall lanky AA prospect and the smaller guy who I think was from Venezuela.
Hearns TKO loss to Leonard. Hearns outboxed him for 13 rounds (no easy feat) and was ahead on all judges scorecards. He just gassed out and Sugar Ray caught him.
McClellan's loss vs Benn
With the referee doing a horrible job in Round 1 and it seeming like karma catching up to Gerald (dog fighting activity) we lost an all-time great in the making. He was a ****ing monster and I believe would have thrashed Roy Jones Jr. had they ever met (Gerald beat him in the AMs, which would have set up a nice angle had they gotten a chance to meet in the professional ring).
