I was too young to follow the sport in his prime, but I have since watched countless fights and highlights. He was the real deal, technically proficient in both offense and defense, underated speed, and decent pop. But the one thing that caught my attention above all else was how disfigured his opponents looked after the bell. Chavez was a very good puncher, but their have certainly been harder punchers who have pounded their opponents for twelve rounds without them looking like hamburger meat. The only guy I could find a comparison for it was Margarito and we know the clouds of controversy that surround his career. So legitimate question or not?
You are aware that it's documented that Chavez had an abnormal bone density which would cause destruction I am not aware. What does abnormal bone density even mean?
The rules of boxing call for the boxer to wrap his hands in front of a member of the boxing commission and a member of his opponent's team and then the gloves are sealed and marked. If the gloves are later removed the seal is broken. If these rules are followed it's pretty much impossible to use illegal hand wraps. Chavez was never even accused of using illegal wraps. He was a sharp puncher who put lots of body weight into his punches. He had fast, heavy punches that marked guys up, cut them and bruised them and that's all there is to it. He didn't cheat in any way.
Margarito had cheated for years under the same regulations and ripped Lujan's ear off,and still wasn't questioned.

I think you're trolling...seeing from the threads you started before and making fun of Golovtards, now you're the wise one about what Mexico thinks of Alvarez when ratings say otherwise. horses, ranches... so what, Texans can do their thing too, other Americans could care less about Lone Start state culture.
what about Sr.'s wraps?
Bro, how could you possibly like a Northern Mexican who rides horses? I've never heard of anything so disgraceful!
However, I like horses too so I'm deeply conflicted.
Personally, I only like fighters who play guitar, ride motorcycles and have koi ponds. Otherwise, I just can't relate to them at all.
I know Mexican features like Morales, Barrera, or Marquez all fight differently in style....just like Alvarez.
So how's your failed thread coming along? Alvarez resembles a northern Mexican in both appearance and application. He rides horses on a ranch for Christ's sake. The only thing he doesn't have is the awful accent. He gives the culture a bad name and is little more than a novelty.
lol. What are Mexican ''features?'' You know what Mexican features are. Canelo has the elitist features of the northern Mexicans ,who despite being the minority control most of the countries wealth. Marquez has your classic central/working class Mexican features a real man's man. It is for this reason that Marquez,Bernardo, and Chavez rip the novelty at every chance they get.
aren't you the same troll that says Mexico and Chavez Sr. disapprove of Alvarez, yet you make such a thread?
weirdo. I don't see what one has to do with the other, but yes. Chavez sr. Marquez etc. spend at least twenty minutes a week on golpe a golpe trashing Canelo for being a flaming coward with barely any Mexican features.
