If the gloves are later removed the seal is broken. If these rules are followed it's pretty much impossible to use illegal hand wraps. Chavez was never even accused of using illegal wraps.He was a sharp puncher who put lots of body weight into his punches. He had fast, heavy punches that marked guys up, cut them and bruised them and that's all there is to it. He didn't cheat in any way. I know Mexican features like Morales, Barrera, or Marquez all fight differently in style....just like Alvarez. So how's your failed thread coming along? Alvarez resembles a northern Mexican in both appearance and application. He rides horses on a ranch for Christ's sake. The only thing he doesn't have is the awful accent.
