Their is going to be a lot of crow to eat,but I suppose the excuses will flood in just like the last time. My money is on Thurman being over trained or drained when he loses.
Going for Garcia by close decision, I think he'll dig deep and put on his hard hat on for this fight!
It'll answer his haters and those who believe he's underachieving!!
Garcia is a different fighter when he's a underdog!
2 judges had Garcia 114-112 in the Mattysse fight.
If you watch the fight , you'll see the knockdown happens when Garcia hits Mattysse when his head is outside the ropes. That's a foul but Weeks missed it (WTF) and called it a knockdown.
It was a tough, close fight and it seems like the Garcia team vowed never to fight a guy who was a threat to Danny ever again..
Vargas has no amateur experience, no ko power and he's no threat to Garcia.
Meanwhile Thurman almost fights less than Danny and just talks BS, so who can you even root for if they ever fight?
I remember when WW was a great division. smh
Thurman KO's Garcia is less than 6.
Matthyse had an eye problem in the Garcia fight, why you gonna be down on a guy that got an eye problem when he was winning the fight too?
I think Thurman KO's Spence in less than 6 too.
I think both Spence and Garcia should have to go through Porter to get to Thurman.
Hell no :lol1:
Dude is toast
  i wanted to see danny vs peralta, just because i want peralta to get a paycheck before he goes into oblivion lol also he might give danny troubles, he will loose but could make him look bad in doing so :lol1:
Manny could have proven himself against Garcia or Mathysse.
Fvck meth smoking Manny.
Manny PACman! Less than 60% KO ratio, unless you add in the times PAC got mashed! Then it is over 60%.
When I say someone is bigger or smaller, I'm factoring in their body frame at the weigh in...some fighters, believe it or not, don't rehydrate properly, some fighters rehydrate more or less under different trainers and for different opponents, so unless a guy is considerably bigger on fight night it's not something I'm weighing heavily. Danny Garcia has a bigger frame than Lucas Matthysse. There's a reason Lucas can still make 140 and Danny can't. Danny is well built, solid welterweight frame. Not a big welter tho. Danny has pretty good bit of a height advantage over Thurman as well,so I guess Thurman loses.
Lucas clearly hits harder than Thurman. Three of Thurman's last four fights have went the distance and since he has stepped up his opposition his ko% has dropped astronomically. Matthysse actually weighted more on fight night than Garcia and he outweighed Khan by a single pound. Guerrero sent Thurman to the hospital despite being the much smaller men. I see Danny pounding the body and methodically breaking Thurman down.

It's just a different fight. Danny was bigger than Lucas and Thurman appears bigger than Danny. Thurman might punch harder than Lucas (I can't say for sure he does), he changes his look better than Lucas; he'll bang, he'll dance away. I think Lucas had the better tank however, I'd wager he's more dangerous late in the fight than Thurman is. It's just a different kind of fight.
I don't think too highly of Garcia, I've always said his advantage was his size at 140 (I predicted he was near Guerrero's level and that the fight would be competitive), but he's still solid. It could be interesting if Garcia lands a bomb on Thurman. Otherwise, I have Thurman winning this one over 12.

garcia being a cherry picker
Jesus Christ, your dumb shyte never ends. If Garcia is a cherry picker, then you must think g string is a serious candy azz
I bet you also laughed when people claimed Maidana would whoop Mayweather's ass not once but twice huh?
I wouldn't take that bet if I were you. But I did laugh when people said Matthysse would KO Garcia
I said I wouldn't be surprised, not I'm absolutely, unequivocally sure. Lemme know when your boner goes down. Actually don't.

Wanna bet all your points on that?

Garcia should be able to beat Thurman. The fight Garcia would lose is to Porter.
If Porter can avoid hook the first 5 rounds then yea. Although I don't think Garcia's power at 147 will be what it was at 140...
Agreed but you have the benefit of hindsight so it's easy to say Thurman is the better boxer. Back then, Matthysse was considered a world class boxer with prodigious power. The man to take down Mayweather... :lol1:
Garcia is easy to sleep on because he isn't special in any category. But I've been saying for years that no one should be surprised if he ends up being the man at 147. Excellent amateur background, can box going forward or backward, can counterpunch with power, hits hard, has experience on the big stage as the underdog and perhaps most important, probably has the best chin in the division. Him vs. Thurman is 50-50 to me but if he comes out with a decisive win, you may be looking at boxing's next big star.
Wanna bet all your points on that?
