to take that laughable 75-25 and shove it up their asses. They have always been about money and everything else is secondary. Guarrantee that they are not even gonna bother to negotiate cuz they want taht 75-25, which again is laughable.
of course he did, because dont you know that the burden is ALWAYS on GGG to meet whatever absurd demands are set by any all prospective opponents?
want to lock in a flat fee purse a year out on the biggest fight in boxing? yep, GGG must accept
want to lock in a revenue split and an 8 pound advantage a year away, at a weight the opponent hasnt made in 3 years? yep, GGG must accept
gets a challenge from a non-drawing 154 pounder who HBO wont even buy and who would expect multi-million purse? yep, GGG must accept
for future reference, just remember that GGG must always accept any offer thrown his way immediately, without question or negotiation
Yeah that seems to be the norm here & the reason being he hasn't faced anyone worth a dime.. Yes he needs to step up his competition & nobody is denying that but c'mon you cannot bend over backwards because someone gives you a half-lucrative offer which can be worth much more if it can be dealt with later..
Canelo's offer though good is BS.. Why can't you negotiate about purses a few months before the fight & pencil in a date now..
cuz loeffler wanted to go to the purse bid asap sayin they cant negotiate etc. ggg's team never budges... which I feel bad for ggg. He should get a better team around him.
I personally feel GGG need to give a decent share to Jacobs & get the fight made because it is a damn good fight, but that's just me..
But what you said still doesn't justify that K2/Loeffler wasn't budging to any demands & were hell bent on 75-25.. Think about it, if K2 had ever offered 30 - 35 & Jacobs said no, then K2 can say ok let's go to the purse bids & sort this out because you are being..
All I'm saying is, 75-25 isn't a new rule & has been for ages.. Team Jacobs are being greedy in asking for 40% & its on them to make this fight.. If every Champion in the history conceded to his mandatory in terms of split then this wouldn't have been a surprise..

Again, it's not asap, cretin. Theyd been at it for 4 weeks, with purse bid in 3 days. Why do you say then don't budge when you just said you have no idea what was offered, worthless POS?
And you created a thread saying that Golovkin & his team wanted 75-25 ? What is to say Team Jacobs have not been offered anything between 25 to 40 ?

it's actually demanding the rule to stay in place if you won't come off of 25% when jacobs wanted 60/40 which is fair. at the very least it should be 35%. who actually thought team golovkin would want the 25% rule forced. it's about team golovkin negotiating with team jacobs. thats what it's really about. f*ck the organizations......they know very well that this fight means more then 25% its a way of taking advantage on any little thing that u can.
25% has nothing to do with the negotiations, that's in case it goes to purse bids. This is standard
You don't demand rules, dumba$$. It's the same rule they use every time

Yeah you are on the right track bud.. Photography is my hobby and my fav mode to shoot is mono( black & white).. I instantly double take every mono pic I see on the Internet :lol1:
That said, su signature me signature amigo :D
Ha ha. Same here. Monochrome catches my eye. Something sobering and engaging about it. I took several semesters of photography (even taught the film and video class when my teacher was on pregnancy leave) but went in a different career direction.
I guess I have an eye for composition but in the graphic editing program, I literally have to look up every move. Took me half an hour to find the "brightness" setting. :trink26:
60-40 is fair considering where both guys are at in their careers. 25% is more of a rule.......but who really thought team golovkin would actually cheapen out and demand the rule of 25%? WTF thats hilarious.......

Its pretty clear that K2 offered Jacobs more than the 25% but Jacobs got way too greedy and wanted to change the rules of the game.. Thats actually quite funny. The guy who had 267k viewers for his biggest fight on Showtime. Most avoided fighter in history right here.
Oh i thought Danny Jacobs was your savior to finally expose GGG in the ring? Now you're already ligning up the excuses trying to blame GGG that Jacobs is ducking the fight. These rules exist for a long time. Jacobs hit the lottery, he can fight for 3 major belts and become a star if he beats GGG. WTF is the guy waiting for?
lol, thx. :D I'm literally learning as I go. Fights like this come along so rarely that I might as well just mark-out on this one.
I plan to do a new one every week leading up to the fight. Got some cool ideas lined up.

Im not saying go 50/50 or 55/45... 70-30 or even 65-35 is even better than 25
Genuinely asking.. do you have any information on what has been offered & turned down? I know 60-40 is what Team Jacobs wanted..
No joke! If I say 4 good things about Golovkin they attack me for not saying 5.
If I want to get irrationally attacked I'll go give my wife some opinions about her wardrobe and makeup.

I know its the purse split $ by the wba
So what's the big deal. K2 has already agreed to let the fight take place at Jacob's preferred venue, the Barclays and he has the chance to win 3 major titles in just one fight plus a cool million or two.
Jacobs was the walk out bout to Easter vs Comney, two unknowns. The audience didn't have a **** about Jacobs vs Mora. Nobody even bothered to tune in during the Jacobs vs Quilling fight. Jacobs acting like he Sugar Ray Leonard famous.
Ya boy Jacobs needs to find that pen and sign the dotted line.
Beating the guy on top no longer have any value these days. The challenger always start with the premise of getting beat already and thus insist on getting paid an amount he doesn't deserve, instead of focusing on the larger money that would follow after beating the champion. It's sad.
