1. Kovalev
2. Golovkin
3. Canelo
4. Ward
Kovalev has the most rounded resume there. Quantity, names, same division as him, consistency.
Golovkin -- domination but lacking a breakthrough name. Canelo has lots of big names on his resume but one of them was a one-sided loss, many of the others are silly fights with huge size gaps or odd catchweights. There is room for argument between these two I guess. The thing is Golovkin "pulled a Canelo" by fighting Brook (a name with a size gap) and many people consider it a low point for him. So a typical day in Canelo's career was a lowpoint for Golovkin? While despite being the heavier of the two, Canelo stepping up and dominating Lemieux for a legit middleweight belt would be seen as a colossal career defining achievement.
Ward -- Obviously inactivity since the Super Six.
Canelo only one to beat Cotto, Khan, Lara, Trout, and Mosley
I thought lara and trout beat canelo. Those fights were in texas. If floyd fought canelo how lara did, they would have gave it floyd.
Boxing is hit an dc dont get hit and lara beat canelo. Trout beat him as well.
I am glad Canelo won and I am a big fan but I voted GGG. It's not only who you fight but how well you do in those fights. GGG has never even had a close fight or been hurt or down in any fight Canelo lost to Mayweather. Ward was knocked down by a guy with almost as many loses as wins and a KO percentage in the 20s. Kovalev has a draw on his record. Cotto is the best fighter Canelo ever beat and Cotto flat refused to fight GGG who I am sure would have knocked Cotto out. Could Cotto beat Lemieux or Murray? I doubt it.
Jesus Christ, your bullshye never ends. No fvcking way g strings resume in the last 4 years beats Canelos or Kovalevs. You just can't be this dumb.

Going by today's date, Ward, in the last 4 years, has fought 4 opponents. A real murderers row in Edwin rodriguez, Paul smith, sullivan Barrera, and Alexander brand. He p4p doe
Should've added Gonzalez, Bradley or Frampton!
I say Alvarez due to volume of fights and quality!
Ward shouldn't be there or GGG!
Between Alvarez and Kov but if Kov pulls out a W against SOG then it could change immediately!
Definitely Alvarez. Kovalev and Golovkin have done solid, but not on Alvarez's level. Ward's barely fought.
Golovkin and Kovalev are a lot closer than I would have thought before looking at the names. Those Cotto, Lara, and Trout wins give Alvarez the slight advantage, but much slighter than I thought coming into this thread. I'm kind of tempted to say Kovalev's equal.
