Liam Smith VS Miguel Cotto Poll!!! 2/18/17

Would probably be a fun fight to watch but if Cotto isn't totally washed up he should stop Smith. Would say a lot though about the current state of boxing if Smith gets two back to back marquee fights when none of the legit top contenders at 154 were even seriously discussed as possibilities for either of those.

I voted Cotto by KO. Cotto gave Canelo a hard fight. Smith lost every round and was slaughtered. Why do these guys who get KOed by a superstar all think that earns them the biggest possible money fights in the next fight after they got KOed? Brook got KOed in 5 by GGG so he thinks he should fight Canelo or Cotto next without redeeming himself with a win. Smith gets crushed by Canelo so of course he thinks he is first in line for the big money fight with Cotto.

Cotto beats the hell out of this dude.. Not sure if old cotto can stop him coming off a long layoff, but he def beats the hell out of Liam

Smith by TKO in the 10th round a la Margarito. Cotto is too small and shot.

This is a huge mismatch, the fight will be pretty much the same as cotto vs geale but at least smith has heart and won't quit Smith loses to all the top contenders and other champions @ 154, seems like a nice guy thought

I'm pretty sure Cotto could land that left hook to the body hard and with frequency. Liam is a solid puncher but too slow to break Cotto down. Cotto will land hooks upstairs and end the fight breaking Smith down to the body. Inside 8 rounds, possibly by 5. He just saw Canelo get this guy out of there and would try to do the same thing. He has the tools to do so.

Only Canelo can beat Smith, everyone else get's either gets out boxer or stopped, including Cotto and lil G
