I mean he get very little credit for beating David Lemieux because of his losses five years prior but Badou was kayoed in the very first round by a journeymen and barely scrapped by Alexander Brand. He drew with Periban who isn't really that good.
So based on all this I assume he doesn't get credit because by NSB standards Jack is a bum.

I would give GGG credit for beating Jack. I've been impressed with Jacks improvement over the past 5 or 6 fights. Jack has a grit to his style that I like.
GGG gets credit regardless the opponent....the bar is set low for him.
All he gets is credit.
he get credit for fantasy fights, and fact is Badou Jack is more proven and first off all i have daubts if he beat Jack, and they make thread like he would 100% beat him,but wouldnt get credit :trink26:,allready suggesting that GGG would win no daubt.:lame:
Badou Jack is a world-rated (depending on whom/what you trust, he's easily in the top 3, no worse than top five, at the weight) champion in the weight class above.
Try and diminish the man (in a silly attempt to justify Golovkin not moving for any sort of challenge) all you want.
You're so full of hatred for Golovkin that you come to stupid conclusions.
Point out where I discredit or diminish Jack. I'll be waiting.
You don't consider the Dirrell, Groves, Bute run decent?
Yeah i consider those wins decent and I consider Jack a decent fighter but nothing more until proven otherwise. He needs a clear cut decision over Degale for me to consider him good. Shouldn't be too hard to do since Degale is riddled with flaws.
I would give him a lot more credit for stepping up and beating Jack than I would for beating a career welterweight anyway, in fact I would easily class it as the best win of his career.

Anyone who thinks David Lemieux is on par or better than Badou Jack is a f*cking idiot. Dirrell, Bute and Groves in his last three fights and you wanna compare Lemieux? For the sake of boxing, find another sport.
Pretty much. I like Lemieux, and I'm so glad he stepped up to fight Golovkin, but he's not even close to Badou Jack. It's not a debate at all, and the only people who would pretend it is, like I said earlier, are Golovkin fans making excuses.
Moving up in weight to beat one of the 2 or 3 best fighters at super middleweight, who happens to be one of the most proven fighters at 168 BTW, is a much, much better win than Lemieux. It would easily be the best win of Golovkin's career. How can anyone dispute that?
A great point! I agree with you 100%! The thing is Jack became a very nice boxer, he would be a very good win in my book, but so was Lemieux and he was getting treated as a bum on here because of the losses you mentioned, which happened when he was a young kid.
Lemieux doesn't have wins like Jack has accumulated in his reign so far. Lemieux is a nice win, but he's still very unproven among the best middleweights. He's not alone in that, but it's still true.
That's not the case with Jack. Badou Jack is a proven super middleweight champion and Golovkin would get a lot of credit for beating him. Honestly, comparing Jack to Lemieux is pretty ridiculous because they are not even comparable.
Haters would give him no credit. GGG fans would give him credit for a good win. Jack is a champion and I am one of the few who think Jack will beat DeGale.
He was the underdog only because he got KTFO. But Anthiny Dirrell himself wasn't very proven.
I think a fight between Lemiuex and Jack would be competitive.
so let me guess this straight, jack isnt proven enough for ggg, lemieux is proven and can become more proven after losing to ggg but lemieux vs jack is competitive lmfao?
lemieux is a good win. jack has actually beaten guys he wasnt suppose to beat in world title fights, which makes him more proven.

I think Jack's resume is more consistent, but Lemieux still has time to accomplish more. GBP has to match him against top 20 MWs consistently, not guys like Tapia. I wouldn't mind Lemieux vs. Monroe/Stevens. He just needs to fight more often and keep honing his skills. His power makes him a dangerous foe for just about anyone. Jack and Lemieux are both B-level in their respective divisions imo. If Jack beats DeGale, then he becomes A-level.
If they could get some fights than probably so. But guys like Canelo, Quillin, Jacobs, and Saunders are holding the division up.
I just find it funny the stubbornness of the Golovkin haters. Most of them just can't say Lemiuex was a good win but Jack would be a better one. But instead they call Lemiuex a bum and Jack a proven warrior.
Even though he was flatten by Derek Edwards lol.
But I just like exposing the hypocrisy of some posters who hold early career setbacks against one fighter but make an exception for another.

no but ko'ing someone in amateurs is different to outpointing them by landing some tippy tappy punches
you are pathetic man..Amatuer wins mean nothing in the pro's but you try to use them to big up GGG's lacking resume..but in this exact post you dont want anyone else to be able to do it
i got a feeling that both the lemiuex and munroe wins are going to look a lot better in time. See both of them having good futures.
