Hilarious. Before this last stretch, I can't remember a time when PBC had less than 5 cards on its schedule at any given moment. Right now they have 0. Wow!
Same goes for Showtime. Not even 1 card on its schedule for either ShoBox or Showtime Championship Boxing.
This sport is dead as dirt in America.
Nice to see one of the PBC fanboys say exactly as it is.
No one got sat down son.
Had always said 1 umbrella whether its PBC or something else. I root for PBC cause i want the more boxing and thought it would work. Still love the toe to toe series and the way we are seeing young fighters being groomed when we weren't getting that before. Time will still tell if its done or not but doesn't change that i have always been 1 umbrella.
I will admit sometimes i get drawn into debates but never cared what network
And i wasn't defending I'm pointing out that why cheer for 1 and downgrade the other when they are both not delivering to us. Its 2 fights in 2 months and both in one month 2 weeks apart and don't get me wrong they are great fights. Love them both especially Ward/Kov but its a pointless "victory" in the end.
Don't care about money, ratings, network, promoters though i think Arum is a dinosaur, or buys. All i care about is the sport and hoping for improvement.
Im here cause boxing is a small nitch fanbase and there is no other outlet for me when it comes to boxing
Kay........
of course its not over yet they about to announce a bunch of fights imo. still dont understand why so many fans youtube channels, writers well writers its obvious usually they work for ring mag or on gbp payroll of some kind but if u root against pbc u better get used to more months like october where there is literally **** going on. i never understood why boxing eats itself from the inside pbc doing well would be good for everyone not just pbc especially now that haymon has shown more willing then most promoters crossing lines and making fights
Lmao not a fanboy but you literally tried defending PBC vs HBO just now till you got sat down by Pigeons. You're very transparent, mate. Your act doesn't fool anyone. Some of us been around long enough to remember your posts from a few years ago. ;)

I know i saw it today got finalized NICE!!
I hope for all good things in this sport. Not a network fanboy and don't care what channel its on.
"What's our hope for PBC? Danny Garcia vs. John Molina Jr?"
1 umbrella to stop "fans" from asking questions like that.

well pbc is the reason boxing is in a bad state right now.gaymon overpaying fighters for mismatches so much that good fights cant be made because why fight a thurman or a porter when you can fight rod salka.you and every true boxing fan should be rooting for pbc to fail.
Plus other fighters not in PBC are seeing this and are demanding more for doing less.
F*ck PBC. What a farce.
Lomachenko-Walters is official.

If Golovkin-Jacobs happens, it will be on HBO.

Also hilarious. But at least it's a bigger fight than PBC has ever put on (or has the ability to put on).
Bit its only 1 fight.
Loma/walters is not scheduled or signed and neither is ggg/ jacobs.
1 fight. A good one but come on.
Now its "at least it's a bigger fight than PBC has ever put on".....at least
Of course new fights are coming soon, they probably in a office somewhere in Vegas laughing at fans and media people overact to RUMORS :dunno:
Hopefully the wait is worth it with some big match ups to end the year
I see this comment made a lot from people that are PRO PBC. One thing I dont understand though is most (not all) that support PBC want HBO, Top Rank and GBP to fail so isnt that the same thing?
Personally a real fan shouldnt want anything of boxing to fail. I think if anyone is anti-PBC it should be for other reasons than what people complain about. To me PBC has just been a disappointment and not because its more boxing on on free T.V., I just thought with all that $ and all those fighters we would see the best vs. the best all the time. People always bring up, "well HBO doesnt do that" well I think we were all hoping that PBC wouldnt be like HBO.
No one wants HBO to fail; the more folks committing money to airing fights, the better (Top Rank and Golden Boy have developed a well-established reputation for shenanigans, so their continued existence is whatever).
If HBO had their $50m boxing budget, and was focused on only putting their money behind fights like Kovalev-Ward, Lomachenko-Walters, Gonzalez-Estrada, Gonzalez-Inoue, unification fights with Crawford at 140, a return of top-flight cruiserweights, legit development fights for guys like Joseph "JoJo" Diaz Jr and Gilberto Ramirez, and good fights featuring their marquee fighters (Alvarez, Golovkin, Kovalev), everyone would be more than happy to carry both HBO and Showtime for fights.
HBO has continued to cut their budget, down to the bare bones, has put on a largely junk fight schedule for the last two years, and no one here seems willing to say anything about it.
HBO has literally not had 5 fights on the schedule at the same time, in at least 2 years now, yet that has never drawn out the "boxing is dead" chatter, especially from you.
sad seeing "boxing fans" wanting to see boxing fail.

Amazing how HBO can still come up with fights fans would spend time discussing endlessly despite having few fighters in its stable and here are Showtime and PBC with more than 200 fighters, yet associated with death and destruction of the sport.
Haymon needs to let these fighters go.
Not many are discussing Ward/Kov which is the only fight on schedule.
Sadly too cause i think its a fantastic fight

It just says that because there are now no fights on the horizon. I checked the schedule on Monday and all that was listed was the Tuesday fox sports 1 card. If there was even 1 fight scheduled, it would be listed and this "new fight schedule coming soon" would not be listed.
