Like how a basketball player sprains his own ankle.
No really....
It's a freaking fight and if he broke your godamn orbital bone he fuking won the godamn fight, period. If he broke his orbital bone in the 1st or 2nd it should have been stopped then. If a UFC/MMA fighter breaks his opponents limb while attempting a submission, is that just an "injury?" NO, he fuking tore his limb off and won the godamn fight, period!
unless you are Floyd. then you are just lightly pushing away your opponent and that is deemed a punch. sweet science doe
Well If that mean old Golovkin had fought like that, poor Kell Brook wouldn't need surgery now, would he?
Thank you Floyd for fighting with your opponents health and safety in mind
I wonder how many GGG fans also say that Lewis fairly won his fight with Vitali because he broke his ****ing face to pieces and nearly blinded him?
Interesting that.
Brook was winning the fight on the cards.
Most Vitali fans, a very large portion of whom are also GGG fans, all say that Vitali was winning the fight on the cards (by one measly round), despite his face literally falling off and it';s somehow a 'win' for him.
Stop being such whiny hypocritical cunts you bunch of girls.
GGG won the fight. Agreed. He won it fairly as much as Lewis won it fairly. Suck it.
I had to rent out a hotel room to watch that fight because I didn't have HBO when that fight happened, so I guess you can call me a Vitali fan. Weird enough, I like Lewis more now that I realized how skilled he was for a big man.
As a Vitali fan (back then) I didn't think like what you just described. Of course Vitali's face was ripped open by multiple punches thrown by Lewis. If you deny this you don't know boxing/fighting.
Lewis won fair and square BUT my complain back then was that Vitali COULD HAVE fought a couple more rounds (although Lewis would have had the better of him due to the momentum and injury he caused).
The difference between Vitali's CUT and Brook's BROKEN eyesocket is that the latter can cause PERMANENT vision problems.
Lewis did lose the first four or five rounds of that fight and was starting to get the rhythm before the stoppage. If the fight went on he most likely would have won anyways.
FYI I am neither black nor Soviet so I am coming from a very unbiased angle.
I like that they claim that ggg broke his bone like it's nothing. A few of ggg fans bring up Anguli vs Lara. Show a knockdown for AA yet dismiss that Lara made him quit by breaking his, you guessed it, orbital bone.
Oh, how I'd love to see that fight, bit I understand, Lara doesn't put butts in the seats yadayadayada

Yeah, Brook one of my favorite boxers, but kind of lost respect for him, after he just doesn't stop complaining "oh i was injured, my eye was broken" like wtf dude you were in a fight, stop whining
I've read comments since Saturday saying that it was lucky he Brook Kell's bone. It was unfortunate for Kell but i wouldn't call it lucky. The same way it isn't lucky if you bust someones nose or make their eye swell out.
It's a fight and that's what your trying to do, hurt you're opponent.
You're throwing a punch with bad intentions, so it's not lucky if you injure, hurt or knock them down.
