So two judges had brook winning 3-1

I wish the fight could have went longer, just to see if the scorecards were going to be fixed. 4 rounds is not enough to determine if they the fixed the cards, 2-2 is not bad, 3-1 seems bad. Wonder if Canela wishes he took the fight, he could have beaten that version of him. Maybe the fight being in a different country played a role or if he was sick. At least now we can see some fighters step up to the plate, since he looked beatable.

The other one had the fight 2-2 Were you scoring them same way? I had it 2-2 being as objective as possible. If this fight went the distance GGG would've been robbed. Canelo-like judges. What do you think? I had it 3-1 Brook but IMO the tide was turning and GGG's power was taking over. There is a thread where GGG says he thought he lost all 4 rounds.

Brook Gabe up. Whatever the score was the secret signal was waved. I sensed that. White flag was def waved in some form, secret form. And was predisposed prior to the fight.

I had it 2-2, 3-1 brook is not outrageous. He was ripping GGG with combinations that would have dropped WW's or break mentally weak fighters.

How can anyone give the 3rd to Brook? He clearly lost that round.

no it was a clear knockdown. there was no push and the reason he slipped is because a left hook hit him in the head. his legs went funny because he was hit and hurt. ggg only hit him with that left. otherwise didn't touch him cept when ggg tripped while brook was falling but brook tripped on a left hook. and they are all blind. what do you expect? go to 11:55 I didn't score the fight but I just checked out round 3. I didn't realize how big of a round that was for Golovkin. He was beating Brook up pretty bad. And yes, it did look like that was a legitimate knockdown. Probably should have been a 10-8 round for GGG. I wonder if most of us were watching this fight with preconceived notions.....Maybe Brook was looking better than we expected so we gave him more rounds/ credit than he warranted. Still though, I give props to Brook for fighting with such heart.

course they will. if kovalev doesnt win by knockout he loses. he will be schooled even if he deserves to win a decision. we saw the same thing in pac/floyd but on a much bigger level when pac landed more legit punches(sticking your arm out and pushing the other guys face away is not a punch) and landed far better punches with the better defense. he was schooled! because...because it was a boring fight? because he didnt kill floyd? because he boxed therefore he auto-loses? if their names weren't pac and floyd it would have been a different result. :lol1: :lol1: Absolute comedian.

Yep. The fix was in. As they did with the lee haskins fight. That fight got me so mad, Haskin running about like a diva and they were making it out as if his work was perfect... Hall stalked him all night long hurting him with jabs and straights it really is a shame because Hall came in with a different mind set he put the game-plan together well and was blatantly robbed.

Now if the GGG that turned up for David Lemieux had come it'd be different scoring altogether. #FACTS Golovkin fights the same way every fight. He is like Ricky Hatton. He only knows one way to fight. If his opponent is able to neutralize that style, Golovkin would get schooled. Brook could have beat Golovkin and won the fight if Brook had stayed off the ropes and backed Golovkin up instead of backing up himself.

I had it 3-1 to GGG, second round was Brooks only round he deserved and round 3 honestly it should have been scored a knock down. Brook would combo up nicely but you can't compare a few fast light hitting shots the same way to a massive power shots that are sending your man reeling back in retreat.

I don't think Brook was winning. I mean I rewatched the fight and Golovkin was blocking everything he was throwing. It was futile for Brook to turn the tide because the shots he was ripping were largely not going to count. It was too much energy to keep up that toe to toe strategy of merely beating him to the punch whilst getting walked down by Golovkins hard jab and body shots. Brook was smart and started to back up with a rope a dope strategy. Before his corner through in the towel he was hardly throwing letting Golovkin wail on him. Might of been the only winning strategy for him. Would have been interesting to see Golovkin get tired in deep water because it was obvious Golovkin was letting everything go not planning on going the distance

I had it 3-1 Golovkin, and was rooting for Brook. The fix was in plain and simple. Luckily for GGG, he busted that eye socket early on, otherwise he would have found out what Dirrell found out, that you have to win by KO in the UK against their big name guy. Golovkin outpunched Brook in every round outside of probably the second. How Brook was given three rounds by two judges needs to be investigated. If Golovkin loses, I want it to be fair, as opposed to crooked scorecards and a robbery. I think they will do the same for sergi vs mental ward scoring it for ward
