Brook's feet are way too slow. He would be forced to come forward for most of the fight and catch powerful counters. Thurman would take advantage of that all night.
"I hate when fans do this, name some similarities between Golovkin's style and Thurman's, I'll wait."
Brook is just a better boxer, has a better jab, faster(which is crazy because Thurman is fast). I think it would be a good fight but Brook is a bigger guy as well. I think Brook controls the fight from distance and wins relatively easily.
I don't think GGG and Thurman need to be similar fighters for this to be valid.
Brook is less agile, has less hand speed and foot speed, is not a counter puncher, and probably has less power as well.
I think both these guys have a bit of a yellow streak in them. I know that will piss off a lot of you idiots but I said it about Matthysse years ago, I said it about Ortiz years ago and I'm saying it about these two right now.
Where exactly did you see that with brook? :lol1:
"fighters like Andrade, Lara Canelo "
no, you cant believe this, you dont beieve this, he believes this??
Most people would have those three favourite over Kell....
I can't recall a guy getting so much positive hype with projected future W's after getting his face destroyed lol. Never understood this Brook hype. He's fought 20+ bums & journeymen while almost losing to one of them (Carson Jones the first time around), beats his first respectable name guy in Porter & then gets his face destroyed by the 2nd respectable name he fights & now he's f#cking up everyone. Thats f#cking nuts. I still say Spence beats him & he probably loses to half of the top 5 or 6 at 154.
Love the way you describe GGG.
"2nd respectable guy". :lol1:
Now that's a fuking hilarious way of taking credit away from someone.
NOw does every one believe Brook dominated Thurman?

"The fight I want is Spence vs Thurman and Khan vs Garcia"
Brook is likely staying a 154 but I think he beats all of the folks you mentioned at 147.
Had to hug porter??? He soundly out boxed Porter, Porter has a smothering style and initiated many of the so called "hugs" trying to get inside and use his stumpy punches effectively. I think if Brook sat on his punches more in that fight he could have scored a KD. BTW, Thurman nearly went life an death with POrter...
Thurman didn't hug porter at all, he traded with him all night and buckled him badly. Brook was on the back foot all fight, did over 10 clinches a round and it was still close on the cards. I don't think he beats Spence and the Thurman fight would be close. He struggles with most at 154, fighters like Andrade, Lara Canelo all beat Kell.
At 147 Kell won't be what he was at 160, draining himself Auschwitz style will make his chin weaker, his punch weaker and his stamina worse, his optimal weight is 154.

Well no? Since when do fighters who take beatings breaking their orbital bone now become unbeatable? Kell struggles making 147, he had to hug porter to win throughout the fight, he was wobbled by Senchenko.... There is a reason why he's wanting to campaign at 154 now and not fight his mandatory at 147 in Spence jr.
