How Much PPV Would Golovkin/Canelo do???

No way does it even sniff 1.5 million, let alone 2 million.. Cotto-Canelo didn't even break 1mil, so hard to see Golovkin outdrawing cotto.. With good hype, it could possibly break 1 mil,, 1.2 tops

Yeah, its hard for me to see this fight doing more than 600k. Personally, I think it does 500K, maybe even less. Honestly, boxing is dead, in terms of mainstream attention. People have lost interest in the sport, because the big names of the past 20 years are gone. And, unfortunately, the transition never took place. There are really not too many great fighters in the sport, I would say maybe 4 or 5 really great fighters I can think of. Unfortunately, they aren't very marketable. Plus, I really dont see the fight happening, either. If GGG loses, then it happens. If he doesnt lose, I dont see it happening. Not a fan of either guy, myself.

I say 750k. It's really on par with Cotto/Margarito. Cotto is a much bigger draw then GGG. Canelo hasn't done well without a big name. I love GGG but he's not a huge name. Only to hardcore fans. Internationally though I think it'll be a huge success.

900k to a million. Canelo can draw when he has a good dance partner. GGG can't do any numbers on his own. But, there's a synergy with these two that can draw a million. It's not that long ago that Floyd was pulling a million from uncompelling fights. This fight not only has a lot of interest, but two good names as well.
