Why is the WBA ordering this fight? Briggs is #8 in their rankings. I think the very dangerous and hard-hitting #7 ranked Manuel Charr or P4P ATG #4 Fast Fres Oquendo would be much more deserving of this title shot. Nothing the WBA does makes sense, unfortunately. I swear they have a dartboard in their office to make their decisions.

So Browne turned his nose up at a fight with Whyte, claiming that he wasn't highly ranked, but will take a fight with a shot Briggs no problem? What a joke.

Also, I like to see Browne get a much easier shot at the belt than Klitschko. He was jobbed and deserves it, but if he can't be Briggs then he definitely shouldn't be called champ. I like this idea a lot, good on the WBA here.

I'm not getting my hopes up until something is signed. Hope it happens though, I want to see Shannon secure the retirement fund.

If Briggs lands early its Shannon but if Lucas Browne can make it to round 5 it will be either a late stoppage or majority decision victory for Browne

Why does everyone think this would be a great fight? Browne wins easily. Because its an even fight tbh.. Browne isn't top 10 fighter & Briggs's shot.. Briggs can punch & Browne has a mediocre chin.. Both men do not have enough energy to dance for 12 rounds & for sure there will be KDs in this..
