If nothing else, he looked very confident and physically unhindered (no injuries, issues). Makes me a little more optimistic for this fight. I truly hope he can maintain that confidence after taking some hard shots.
Yeah i think so too.
He should focus on not taking any shots at all. He doesn't usually take shots anyway, but obviously GGG is a different kind of fighter. Brook has solid defense and headmovement etc so he'll give GGG some tests in my opinion.
One thing is for sure, Brook has never looked this good or energized before a fight before.
He looks massive. His arms look like legs.
He'll spank GGG.

I don't care much about the open workouts as it's just guys hitting pads that don't hit back. We saw David Lemeiux tearing the pads up before his GGG fight and then he got shut down completely by the jab of GGG..
One thing is for certain, Brook looks really good at this weight. He's a solid dude and will probably be staying here or at 154 for certain. I can't believe he even made 147 at this point.
Kell's speed is always under-rated.
He's fast on top of being very accurate and sharp, speed looks good.
It's not going to be about the speed or skill, it's how does he hold up against the size.
Don't care how slow/fast he is... He's not beating GGG.
If he can make it to round 8, without absolutely running and holding every minute, it will be a victory.
He's gonna crumble like chedda' under GGG's punches.
I don't completely disagree with you, but it's that narrative that makes me even more excited for this fight as many don't Brook to do very well. I'm hoping he does well.
Mitts are supposed to tell us something about his stamina and speed while weathering the rolling thunder?
I haven't been watching his workouts, or commenting about his speed but he wasn't particularly fast at 147 so it only stands to reason that he's going to be slower at 160.
I hope he does well, but I've never been one to read into mitt work. He's just arm punching and entertaining the fans. When has this type of thing ever been insightful for an actual fight?
Anyway, thx for the vid. I haven't seen any of his prep until now.
