So the GGG critics talk about how Canelo is the cashcow in the sport, the face of boxing and how many tickets he sells, how much money he makes etc.
Lara made $1 Million against Canelo (only Canelo himself got Upside of the PPV money)
• In the main event, fought at a catchweight of 155 pounds, Canelo Alvarez will receive a $1.5 million purse but likely will make more based on pay-per-view sales and Mexican television revenue. His promotional company, Canelo Promotions, is also likely getting a nice chunk of change. Erislandy Lara will make a career-high $1 million for his first pay-per-view main event.

Now Lara's manager comes out with the following statement:
Lara has been vocal about fighting the most feared middleweight in the world, IBO/WBA/IBF/WBC champion Gennady Golovkin. According to the manager, there might be a plan to move up to 160 but not just yet:
"Lara's the type of fighter that doesn't need to fight 3 fights to move up in weight," explained DeCubas, Jr. "When the gates open for 160 he'll move up whether its Golovkin or rematch with Canelo, Danny Jacobs, or Billy Saunders. There's a lot of big fights there but for now he's going to keep defending his title because he wants to break the record for the most title defenses"
So how much would a possible Golovkin-Lara fight cost and would it be in the budget of HBO?
"Showtime definitely has the budget but can Golovkin fight on Showtime? I'm not sure what the budget is on HBO. Lara commands a lot of money so I cant say the fight will be simple to make. We got to make more money than what he's made in the past for Golovkin."
Lara, in one of his latest fights fought Jan Zaveck at a Park Race Track in Florida and reportedly only sold 200 tickets for this fight, it's not like his fanbase got any bigger since losing to Canelo and fighting the likes of Zaveck, Ishe Smith, Delvin Rodriguez and winning a razor thin decision against Martirosyan.
Why doesn't Lara want to face GGG for the same money he got against Canelo?
Need to get more opinions about that. Just Facts please, no trolling, no biased bullshit.
Ill keep it simple
Say you are paid $10 to move 5lb rocks 100 ft. So someone says i have another job for you to move 50lb rocks 200 ft. Would you accept yhe same $10 or demand more?
If you say yes ypu accept the same then you are a fool destined to live in your parents garage forever.
Like i said. Simple.
Not even sure why this was a question
Yeah you missed a lot. Decubas first admits theyve never contacted Gggs people to try to make it happen, then last month he said Loeffler approached Haymon about Lara, and Decubs started giving excuses like "Lara commands aot of money, this fight won't be easy to make"
So basically I miss nothing, GGG haven't offer ****, and I saw that video too and he did not mention any money they been offer because they haven't.
All he did was dispelled the myth they have to make the offer, he clearly said they can make the offer with Pbc showtime money but is GGG who is in a HBO contract so he is the only one who can send the contract and they haven't.
So again when did they offer Lara a million to fight, the answer NEVER
All You had to say was that you were guessing and assuming things that you don't actually know. No need for all this
It's not hard dummy, if a guy is saying we make 1m for Delvin, making fun of Crawford's purse, saying he commands a lot of money, he probably wants 3m min, but let's be generous and say 2. With Gggs purse that 5m, at a minimum. Now gimme precedents for Showtime paying that much, first for their valuable fighters in winnable fight, next for lepers like Lara who are massive underdogs and sure losers to their rival Hbos fighter.
If this C sider is scoffing at Crawfords 1.3m purse, how.much you think would this one cost? When is the last time Sho paid that much in purses? How about for one of their least popular guys to get crushed by an overwhelming favorite from Hbo? Try using your brain for once, stupid fcuk?
Laras manager must have thought it was serious enough to be reaching for all those excuses
All You had to say was that you were guessing and assuming things that you don't actually know. No need for all this
So what's the plan besides complaining? Brook is getting the same amount of money Saunders asked for. Saunders would've taken the fight for that amount of money. Maybe if this fight with Brook is a big success GGG should buy out his contract with K2 and go to a promoter who can pay to get the big fights he wants, like Matchroom. Canelo said he has no problem fighting in the UK. If GGG were with Hearn he'd put up enough money to bring him over. K2 isn't even in position to offer Canelo a fight.
Damn that's a lot of disingenuousness you packed in one post. Who is in a position to offer Canelo a fight, Floyd? Why would you bring up 4m for Saunders? You know full well it's not Gggs team payout that out. How much did BJ get for Eubank? And why would you worry about Gggs prospects when he's at the peak of his popularity and still gaining? Canelo in the UK lol. You know Canelo has said many things he wasnt serious about. And you know that ppv of that caliber make way more in the US

Why doesn't Lara want to face GGG for the same money he got against Canelo?you need to add one more option to your biased poll, "ggg will never offer lara 1 million"...
Thanks for the info.
Considering GGG is not a draw, according to his detractors here, then Lara should have significantly less here. That must follow by GGG detractor logic. Probably in the 600K region.
Now I would like to know how much Lara is demanding to face GGG so we can determine if he in essense is pricing himself out.
So. How much does he want?
None of these guys will name their.price, too embarrassed. But in that video his manager was laughing at 1m (we make that for Delvin lol), scoffed at Crawford Postal purses (they need a better manager), capped it off with "Lara commands a lot of money, fight won't be easy to make'. There's your hungry challenger chasing after the big champ
OK so what's the plan? It's obvious fighters want to be overpaid to fight him. Fighters can continue to fight around him and get paid just as much as K2 is offering. He's about to be 35. Will there come a point where they overpay for a fighter to get good name on his resume? Or is the plan to continue complaining?
Tsk tsk. Why post something you well know is not true? All these guys are getting career high offers, all would be overpaid if they took it.
and I was referring to you answering this poster when he asked was there an offer and you replied he missed a lot implying an offer was made
Don't need to guess, I clearly said Loeffler approached Haymon, no mention of any offer, a$$wipe
Ok i stand corrected now tell me why is it a lie? What makes you think its a lie?
Well then if K2 made no offer than all this talk is for nothing.

So let's recap. Andrade ducked Lara. Charlo twins won't fight him because they share the same trainer. Quillin and Jacobs are not interested.
So who do you have in mind for Lara's next fight then?
if Lara can't no fight with the young lions, he should move up, I want him to fight Jacobs-, Murray (i saw a ggg stan say he'll knock out Lara lmaoo yes Murray is moving back down to 160lb)
Thanks for the info.

What? Did I miss something?
When did GGG camp made an offer to Lara?
Did Lara rejected the offer?
Nope, GGG is ducking Lara.
Your strawman post won't fix that.

He was laughing at 1m in that video.
Who said k2 made an offer, twit?

They didn't say that about Sho
Saying he commands lots of money isn't a lie.
Anyone can say that and he does if he made 1 mil against Canelo
the lie is that K2 made an offer
Decubas: "Showtime definitely has the budget but can Golovkin fight on Showtime?".

Andrade ducked Lara, one of the Charlo twins has the same trainer, Quillin said he'll never fight Lara because their Cuban brothers, Williams doesn't want it with Lara at the moment, it seems like both Lara and Jacobs have no intentions of fighting each other.
So let's recap. Andrade ducked Lara. Charlo twins won't fight him because they share the same trainer. Quillin and Jacobs are not interested.

Why lie and say Sho has the budget for it? Why lie and say he commands a.lot of money? He doesnt
