It's what I'd rather watch that I'm more concerned with. We're fans not fighters. Too many on here think they're the boxers or managers themselves.

I would rather be a boring winner as the goal of the fight is to win, not to lose in exciting fashion. I also agree with Irondan, boring is subjective. calling floyd, ward, Crawford, rigo and others boring is always a reaction to them beating an NSB favorite or non american rather easily. It's NSB, If you can't beat 'em, denigrate them.

ok, since we are boxing fans, lets pose this question instead: would you rather watch an exciting fight or a boring fight? take crawford for instance, no-one is asking him to stick his chin out , hands down and get hit by postol but he was clearly taking over the fight, yet still stuck to his low output no-one wants to see a bore-fest like that What's boring and what isn't is subjective though isn't it Not everyone likes the same thing. Some people enjoy those Crawford esque performances.

He rarely pushed for it ever. He was a big puncher so he got a lot of stoppages much like Wlad but he didn't really push for them. Anyway, it's irrelvant because Lewis was boring as hell man. Some of his fights were like watching paint dry.

A whole of a Hell lot more than what I got from Floyd And I hated Lewis sissy ass Regardless, he was still considered to be a boring fighter and he was boring IMO very boring actually. I'd argue Mayweather from 1997-2005 was a whole lot more exicting to watch than Lewis ever was.

Tyson wasn't exciting considered he just slowly beat on a shell of a man. Ruddock was alright in the sense he starched him early but that's the eqiuvilent to saying Wlad Klitschko isn't considered boring because he starched Pulev early.

When he had a for sure kill, he at least went for it.. Had me interested for all 12 Lewis was literally widely considered one of the most boring fighters ever when he was still an active fighter. His main criticism. And it's true, he was boring as hell most of the time especially later in his career.
