Crawford will have problems with Pacquiao??

I'm not sold on Crawford's chin.

Manny > Crawford Speed - Pac Defense - Crawford Footwork - Equal Power - Pac Able to adjust quicker - Crawford Better Opponents - Pac Boxing doesn't work like that, at all. Ability to walk your opponent into a power shot - Crawford. Postol is too scared to get KO'd by TC. Pac doesn't fight like him. Pac will do more damage than Postol, but he also has the higher chance to get got with one of TC's mobster left or right hand counters.

Of course he will, it is fuking MANNY PACQUIAO one of the greatest fighters of HIS ERA I favor Pacquiao over EVERYBODY from 140-147 and I think he beats the sh1t at some of the guys at 154 regardless of size difference. Give that man his respect, you don't have to like him because yes he had a fanbase that was super annoying but if you do not respect him don't even call yourself a Boxing Fan. Pacquiao and Mayweather have absolutely NOTHING Left to Prove! This^^ Thurman/Spence/Brook bring punchers chances into the fight due to their size and speed. Canelo's style would fair him very well, Cotto may perform better the second time around. Don't like too many other fighters chances from 140-154 Floyd beat Manny clearly and it's funny this thread is being used as proxy to undermine that but he did not look good at all. Floyd was scared by Manny's suddenness and fought him accordingly. Not all too different to Crawford's gameplan for Postol. Postol ain't no Manny though.

The only problem Crawford will have is deciding which hand he wants to knock Manny out with.

Mayweather beat Pacquiao for sure. The official scorecards if I remember correctly had Mayweather winning about 8 rounds to 4 rounds for Pacquiao. That's a clear win. What it isn't is an easy win, a slaughter or a clinic or schooling. Mayweather fans have gotten carried away with how easily Mayweather beat Pacquiao and forget or deny that Pacquiao won 4 of the 12 rounds and Mayweather's father was yelling at him several times to quit fighting scared. If Mayweather had won 10 or more rounds that would have been an easy win, a clinic, etc. but he didn't do that. As for Crawford, he is obviously very good but he isn't in Mayweather's class and probably never will be. He has two big wins compared to lots of big wins for Mayweather and about 15 years as a world champion in different weight classes. Pacquiao would probably give Crawford lots of trouble and the odds on the fight would be very close. Pacquiao has a solid chance to win. He is much faster, punches much harder and throws a ton more punches per round than Postol.

I give Crawford a good chance but it will be a tough fight. Mayweather's quick counters made Pacquioa hesitant to mount an offense. I'm not sure Crawford is that quick. He can definitely hurt Pacquiao and that could make a difference but he would have to hurt him consistently, maybe get a knock down or two. The only comparison I see with Crawford and Mayweather is his ability to adjust and his unpredictable offense.

It's a good point you made that even Pac threw less shots than ever because it's 100% true and that was a smart gameplan by Floyd. However, despite the fact that Spoon is unable to let it go, the video he's posting every day about the real number of shots landed is 100% true. I was clear to me it even watching it live. It's clear that compubox guys are as corrupted as USADA. You never saw me here before complaining about the outcome of the fight, because the fight happened 6 years too late anyways so I didn't wanted to talk too much about it, but here it goes. Watching it live I had it a draw. Even if Floyd won (which I wouldn't argue, depends on what you are looking for as a judge), it would be 7-5, nothing more. He moved very well in the ring, preventing him throwing punches. At the same time Manny looked at his worst ever and it had nothing to do with Floyd, it was due to his non existing movement. I can never forget when the fight started, comparing in my head how Manny looked energetic against Oscar right from the first bell, versus being stationary against Floyd. Ok maybe it was a gameplan not to fall in Floyd traps, and he did it very well but he was too cautious, taking less risk. Even when he hurt Floyd a couple of times, he let him off the hook. It never happened to him before, even in the late stages of his career. It was undeniable that his shoulder was really hurt. The thing he did much better than any other of Floyd's opponent, and I was the first to mention it, was how many times he made Floyd miss and did something Floyd was doing to everybody else - counter him a lot. He beat him in counter-punching department, Floyd never got countered that much. Now about the HBO crew praising Floyd. It's not a conspiracy theory, HBO was ****ting on him all the time until the fight happened and it happened when Floyd had only 2 more fights left on Showtime contract, with everybody predicting a rematch with Pac in the future. So they would do anything to get the rematch on their channel, instead of sharing it with Showtime. You watched Pacquiao vs Bradley 3? Max and others were praising Floyd during that fight, talking about he schooled Manny, it was clear they have an agenda. I think Cotto did better than Manny maybe, but I can only think about Cotto. Mayweather's win is clear IMO (guys like Spoon are deluded) but widely exagerated by american medias. I had 8-4 for Floyd but I'm taking in count "Las Vegas judgement" counting "pot shots" and "shows special effects". I guess 7-5 is maybe the fairest statement. Yet, Manny was quite impressive, but somehow looked shy and sometimes not that much concerned. I think the Marquez KO didn't help. My opinion is once Manny get koed by KingKez, Floyd decided to fight Manny, they waited him to get back with some wins then made the fight, 6 years too late as you stated.

Postol didn't have power and didn't counterpunch, he was a bit shy and too cautious and that's why Crawford won pretty easily. Manny is not afraid of being hit and can definetly take a punch. Also, manny is a very effective counter-puncher so I think he can neutralize Crawford one way or another. don't get me wrong Crawford is a well rounded fighter and deserve to stay where he is, but Pacquiao is still a level or two above.

Damn it's crazy....I've always had and always will favor Pac in that match up...not saying Pac can get old as BHop and still beat Bud, but RIGHT NOW I see Pac beating the youngster up I saw the thread title and was coming in to post that Floyd himself even stated that Pac was better than he thought and he now understand why he's a ATG after their fight...he was even caught on cam in the locker room telling his peeps that "that lil mfer can fight"....so seeing that it was actually Floyd who said this is kinda funny lol

Crawford has improved from the Gamboa fight. Now he will be a nightmare for Pacquiao because Pacquiao is not as good with mobile targets. Crawford is an intelligent fighter who downloads people's strategies early in the fight and adjusts accordingly. Pacquiao is good, has power but Crawford will beat him. He could even take him out. Sugar Ray Crawford could figure out Postol stiff "one-two straight punches" game. Faire enough, let's see how he deal with a past it but yet ATG. Pacquiao is lot smarter than he's credited as a fighter. Yall act like Mayweather is a Genius, but vs Manny, his reach advantage is mainly what allowed him to control this fight.

TBH no one won that night. Both fighters embarrassed themselves. One ran, the other couldn't catch him. I will probably blame Floyd more for that. But anyway, they have both had their fair share of challenges so I guess the pay was well deserved. They will both be remembered as greats but Manny's fights will last a lifetime. floyd made it look easy? pac landed the much better punches and floyd had a lot of trouble hitting pac clean. sounds like it was pretty difficult for him. floyd only won because of his reputation and nothing more. sure as hell wasn't based on the punches.

All I know is that even at his advanced age, Pacquiao is still quicker than Postol, probably hits harder than Gamboa (even if he has not KOed anyone of late), and still has some awkwardness left in him to make it a bit difficult for his opponents.
