Why Shouldnt ggg move up in weight???

There is so much wrong with your post and its only one sentence. Who are names at 147? Who are names at 154? Floyd's resume isn't weak compared to Golovkin's. But it is weak and is full of asterisks. I've got no idea what you're talking about I'm referring to Golovkin the poster, he said all the names worth fighting are in the lower divisions, 147 to 154, Lists Canelo and Cotto, who Floyd has beaten but goes onto say Floyd's resume is weak. . . So which is ittt?

I was on my phone in the previous post. But to continue on with what I was saying; I would like to see ggg in some big fights and I can only think of one person who I would bet against ggg with. Even that fight is damn near 50/50. Everybody keeps focusing on the size/weight and not the power ggg possesses (rumor has it, he could knock out an inanimate object). That power could probably make him a force all the way up to 175. If he were to take fights that people thought were challenging then he would put himself in a better position to get out of that "middle class". I get that he's not getting the fights at 160 but not the "whats he supposed to do part"? Move up where hes not as much of a favorite and people maybe more willing to fight you. Dont fight a WW because he is "willing" he could kill that guy. The bottom line for me is; I wanna see how good ggg really is. He definetely passes the eye test. Now lets see him test himself in the ring. If he comes up short along the way, f*ck it. Comes with the territory. But dont sell yourself short hanging on to this distorted vision of unifying the MW titles. Its not that great if hes handed 3 out of the 4 belts or 4 out of 5 (who knows how many there is) Why should he cut himself short of his goal to satisfy you?

Not one single win is significant. Hedging your bets on a verbal from GBP is probably not the best thing for his career either. Doesn't make much sense, does it? again, whats' the payoff if you do move up? the checks still cash. the money is stil the same and the fights are easier at MW. and you have the chance to fight canelo. they're not going poor, or even losig money at MW. heck, they just got an easy fight for what's likely to be career high money against a WW. they have no incentive to move to 168 at all, unless it's to appease the 20 golovkin detractors on bscene, who don't buy fights anyway, and owuld just demand a move to 168. make no mistake, these are not objective observers. they just want to see golovkin lose. there's really no incentive for 168 lbs.

He's in his 30s, comfortable at 160, and there's no one left at 168 that is a big fight to move up for, especially compared to the wealth of talent at 154 that will likely hit 160 in the coming years. I would still like to see him try at 168 at some point.

I think a direll, jack or degale fight would be his biggest fight to date. You wouldn't agree? Or does it have to be a "mega fight" now? i don't think dirrell or jack would be PPV fights. maybe i am wrong. dirrell is a very talented kid, but he's had a very strange career. and jack is a fighter who proved me wrong by beating groves, but he's not an earner by any means. he's also, as far as i know, working with floyd maywetaher, which could turn into an issue.

Well, since the bitches in his division piss their pants at the thought of fighting him, I guess he'll have to move up soon.

is anyone happy about that? i doubt it... direct your anger towards the parties that leave their belt and run for the hills. GGG should move up whenever but i only see him moving up when a notable fight comes up... that's just logic. Floyd moved up for big money fights, so did every other fighter, the move up for bigger and better fights, or if they outgrow a division... that's how the game is played, you can't just expect to change the standard for one fighter. in an ideal world i would love to see GGG unify and then fight a unified champion at SMW after Jack and Degale unify their titles.
