......welterweights moving up, he's been hanging around 160 all these years for one reason alone to fight welterweights moving up. What has been his MO the past 3 years? Calling out Floyd, Canelo, and now Kell Brook, anything to get a smaller man in the ring with him.
34 years old and not once coming close to moving up to 168, ridiculous when you started your career at 160. Dude is clearly trying to pull a Hagler but as someone pointed out before there was no super middleweight division in Haglers day, he'd have to go straight to 175.
Golovkin fans should see now that he is exposed, fighting smaller guys is not what the " most feared" fighter in boxing should be doing......knock out bigger men in higher weight classes if he wants to impress his detractors! What exactly does beating an unproven Kell Brook do for his career?
So Brook can't be bracketed with Hearns, Duran or SRL. But you have no problem bracketing GGG with Hagler when it fits your agenda.
Is Triple G not considered Top 3 P4P, I think HBO may even have him at #1, what exactly is Kell Brook? What is he rated?
Oscar and Trinidad both beat MW's before facing Hopkins, or did you conveniently forget that fact before you became a **** gobbling moron?
Oh yeah.... Oscars great win over Sturm( which he lost handily) and that thrilling Joppy win for Tito...
Oh and blow me
And none of what you wrote bears any semblance to Hagler vs 3 fighters considered ATG's moving up to challenge the throne. Kell Brook is none of the above!!!

So did you criticise Andre Ward for trying to get Golovkin to move up for him when there were no fights to be had at 168?
Thought not.
B ... b ... ... but ...
..........................................................................................
Did you know that SRL moved up from welterweight to fight Hagler?
Did you know that prime Hagler also defended his middleweight title against another welterweight ... Tommy Hearns, and a lightweight .. Roberto Duran?
Did you know that BHop spent 10 YEARS unifying the middleweight division before moving up to 175?

And BHOP was never described as the hardest puncher in boxing, the most feared fighter in boxing, or even in his prime. He was always said to fight like an old man, especially when he first drew fame against Tito!!
G isn't doing what B-hop did at all. Trinidad AND ODLH were already MW champs when Hopkins fought them. Both also had many great wins and were p4p fighters when they lost to Hopkins. Brook has never fought above 147 and has one good win and a whole bunch of tomato cans on his record. Ward and Lara have been calling G out for over a year now. But G won't even consider facing an elite "boxer" and instead has someone with one decent win in his career jump up TWO weight classes! Hopkins always said he would fight RJJ also, he wanted a 50-50 split. RJJ always wanted more. Now when Ward not only called out G but even send him a contract, G said "NO. But maybe in a couple of years." lol. Also Joppy, Echols, and Johnson were all better than anyone G has ever faced as a pro. Fighting a welterweight and fighting a middleweight are not "exactly" the same thing. In fact it is a two division difference! G is a great talent, but he is obviously afraid to try and prove he is great and instead picks easy victories.
If Ward and Lara's promoters had done what Eddie Hearn did, and offered GGG $3/4 million to fight their guys, those fights would have happened by now.

Isn't Triple G described as the hardest puncher in boxing? Isn't it said that he has to spar with Light Heavy's because Middleweight sparring partners cant take his punch? Isn't Triple G now top 3 P4P? If your answer to all those is yes then he is required by any educated boxing fan to move his azz up to 168 and prove he is worth all the gloating!!
there were many fights to be had at 168 for ward: stevenson, froch, degale, bute, etc...he just didn't want them. according to ward himself he was entitled to pick his own opponents and hbo disagreed so he didn't fight.
I know that. But Ward fans insist that he "cleaned out 168" and had no opponents left there, and there's no point arguing with them about it.
Exactly, they thought B hop was old and past prime, he was, and they couldn't take him.....they failed. Even Hagler was perceived to be past prime vs Ray Leonard. Golovkin is smack in the midst of his prime and continues to fight underwhelming opponents, his only option for greatness is to move up and beat the best at 168 and 175.....that's the only way he'll ever compare to a BHop!

]If there are no fights to be had at Middleweight then you move up, thats the way its done, thats what is expected for P4P fighters to do.
.....and to answer your question, it sets up Ward to fight Kovalev in November, I guess you conveniently leave that out

Where do you get the idea that Eubank backed out? You an apologist dude
From Eubank's own promoter. Have you even been following this story, or just doing your usual thing of posting shit about GGG without having a clue what you're on about?
Nah we wouldn't.criticize I legit opponent but that is what you've done with Mayweather for unspeakable years....you say he's done nothing I say he's done more than any fighter the past 20 years!
No need to explain, I already know why GGG gets all the hate here.. It would be good if you and your buddies could move on from that schit and start enjoying the sport for what it is.
GGG signed to fight Eubank Jnr, then was offerd Brook on the same terms when the Eubanks backed out. Of course he's going to accept the fight.
Brook will be a bigger test than Lara or Andrade, imo. He is basically the same size as them and a better fighter either of them.

I don't blame Golovkin for calling out Mayweather and Canelo. But I can't excuse the Brook fight. If he fought a 154 lb guy like Lara or Andrade that wouldn't even bother me. But you should be fighting a guy like Bute or DeGale at 168 before you fight Brook WTF. It's not like you won't make money fighting them.

He stays at middleweight because that is his natural fighting weight. He doesn't want to fight welterweights. He wants all the belts at 160 as he has told us about 1000 times. He wants to fight Jacobs and Saunders but they don't want to fight him. Brook challenged him and he said yes to a career high payday. What boxer would do any differently.? He doesn't seek out welterweights and most of his title defenses have been against the best middleweights who would agree to fight him. He defends his titles 3 or 4 times a year and that's twice as often as many of today's champions. He said he will pursue fights with Jacobs and Saunders after Brook. He also said he will fight at 168 after he has all the middleweight belts. Maybe he is pulling a Hopkins. They both turned pro around 24 years old. They both won middleweight titles when they were about 30 years old. Hopkins stayed at 160 until he was almost 41 years old. That gives GGG at least 6 more years at 160 to copy Hopkins. Be careful. If you hate GGG any more your head might explode. What does top light heavyweight Ward fighting a 168 pounder nobody ever heard of do for his career?

What?!? Fighting Ward, DeGale, Dirrell would make G less than fighting Lemieux or Rubio??? If G wanted a big money fight he would be fighting Canelo at a CW in September. Hopkins fought ODLH at a CW. Canelo fought Floyd at a CW. Bottom line is G and Loeffler said for years anyone from 154-168. Well, there is Canelo at 155, Lara at 160, and Ward at 168. But instead he goes for a welterweight? If G wanted the money he would be fighting Canelo. He would rather keep collecting $2 mill a fight with little to no risk. That's fine, but just say it and don't act like everyone is scared of you so you have to fight guys two divisions lower.
The ward at 168 ship sailed a long time ago. All the other names you mentioned other than canelo aren't gonna make him any more money than the type of opponents he's been fighting. Now that canelo has moved back to jmw, ggg is probably gonna have to cut weight to get the fight...should be a 157 cw, but i doubt canelo would take that fight. I don't care for the brook fight, but let's not act like ggg isn't being avoided at mw.
I think people are forgetting that Hopkins met Delahoya at a catchweight and Trinidad held knockouts over legit Middleweights before Hopkins fought him...
They also thought Hopkins was old and ready to be took
