Which fighters do you think would have beat Mayweather?
I'd say Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson, Tommy Hearns.
Pacquiao in 2008/2009 I'd say would have had a huge chance of winning, but could see Mayweather winning. Duran I think would be a 50/50 fight.
Margarito-- nope
Hatton with a fair ref-- meaning one who allowed Hatton to constantly hold and hit?
Maidana and Castillo lost.
Sh1t list you made. Try again.
I actually was very satisfied after the Hatton fight. Fatton got the taste of his own medicine - dirty fight, where the ref is not on his side. It was sweet.
Williams had some problems against southpaws. His losses all came against southpaws. Floyd is no southpaw.
Even then, Williams still KOd Quintana and did well against Martinez until that KO. When you risk it, you will lose some of those risky fights. Floyd tried his best to remove risk from the equation before entering into his fights.
I know Quintana was a southpaw, my point was PW gets hit with straights . I've watched most of his fights and Floyd would have landed that right all night as my dude barely moved his head. Would have looked like Floyd vs Guererro except worst because PW had very little defense but an awesome chine. My dude PW was a volume puncher that could get you out of there if he landed good but he was no axe murderer. You are right, Floyd avoided threats around 147 when it was a hopping division but lets not pretend he wouldn't have been the favorite over those guys. Only guy from the 08-11 welter division that *could* have beat him was the Pacman, and that was still a 50/50 fight. Cotto, PW, Margrito, Mosley all would have been UD.
Which Mayweather? TBE? Jeff? Roger? Floyd Sr?
Ali,Foreman,Lennox,Wlad,Evander, tons of guys would've beaten any of them prime for prime
Stop being bias.
he would have made duran look foolish. he would beat hagler too but it would be close.
he would lose to hearns though. too much size and too many tools. has good speed too. would have no respect for mayweathers power just like he had no respect for durans power
So Floyd who never took on even a **** middleweight would beat Hagler, widely accepted second best middleweight of all time.
Cool story Bro.

LOL go to bed kid
Duran TKO's him.
Leonard Tko's him.
Hearns KO's him.
Lol at the guys who think he would beat hagler.
Prime forrest at Welterweight beats him.
Winky Wright UD's him at 154.
Prime De la Hoya at 147 UD's him.
And that's just my limited knowledge.
LOL I love Paul Williams, we from the same area but come on son. Carlos Quitana schooled him in the first fight. Dude couldn't get out of the way of a straight right hand. As far as Floyd not having a punch, that could be true but then wouldn't people have just straight up mauled him every fight i.e. Paulie M ? I think Floyd has another power to keep guys honest and rethink their game plans. I've spared with guys that were just so damn sneaky with their right hand they force you to readjust even when you think you got them figured out. By the end of the session, your like WTF just happened?!?! Floyd in any era woulda held his own. He may would have took a few L's from the likes of Duran and Hearns. but I think we would still be an all time great, Top 15 fighter. All the fighters that we think would beat Floyd had flaws that Floyd would have adjusted too. Just my opinion as I got Paul Williams as my P4p number 1

Damn, beat me to it. Quintana's straight right hand huh?? But he was a southpaw doe.

Any semi decent middleweight and up.
A few of the aforementioned greats below such as SRL, Hearns, Duran. I also agree that Williams would have been a nightmare for Floyd.
PBF is great at 135 but he definitely took a careful path at 147 and up and quite rightly too.
Its not only abou twinning. It what some of those fights would have done to Floyd.
Take Margarito for instance. Win or lose, Floyd would never be the same after that fight.
Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez, Manny 2009/2010 in this era. Prime Oscar and Mosley too.
In other eras there are quite a few names ...SRL and Hearns would have beat Floyd.

No one
Mayweathers defense, adaptation ability and general ring intelligence are too much for anyone in boxing history.
Maybe a prime Henry Armstrong, a prime Salvador Sanchez and a prime Ray Robinson could beat a prime Floyd but I would still put my money on Floyd.
IMO, Floyd is P4P the best boxer that ever lived. I'm not trolling here. I just don't see anyone beating a prime Floyd.
