He was just a different beast, let’s get that clear. And I made Vitali work, I made him throw more punches than in any other fight in his career . Stiverne is the hardest puncher I’ve fought, not so much just his power, but the punches he throws that you don’t see coming.
But Vitali is easily the smartest fighter I’ve ever faced.
-Chris Arseola
Thoughts? I personally agree with Arreola's comments. Having said that I don't expect this version of Arreola to be able to do much against Wilder. Probably a punchers chance at this stage!
Why is there no confidence in Wilder?
When your one of the Alphabet belt Holders and your fighting Bums like an up and comer there will always be doubt. Now if your the champ and your knocking every contender out the confidence level will be through the roof
Vitaly kept fighting the best opponents, he wanted to face the best available fighter all the time.
Wilder fights guys outside of the top 30, usually small pudgy out of shape guys nobody heard about, who just come for a payday.
Wilder only wants to face Joshua because it is his biggest payday. Ask him to fight Luis Ortiz for example, he will never ever get close to the guy.
Vitaly is an All Time Great, Wilder is more like a clown.
I don't believe he REALLY wants Joshua anyway!
Ortiz is getting shut out of the picture a bit. I'd like to see Povetkin v Ortiz.
