Mine was going to my mom's for a weekend visit.I was around 7 or 8 and chris eubank fought Nigel benn for the first time,I got to stay up late to watch it because I saw something about it on the news and asked my mom why two grown men would fight on t.v....been hooked ever since
I remember certain moments of Mike Tyson fights and Chavez fights, but the first distinct fight I remember was Oscar vs. Tito. ****ing incredible build up and being around my Mexican side of the family made it all the more electric
Don't remember how young but really young and seeing Marvin Hagler.. He looked like he raped white women and feasted on small children. Well at least until you heard him speak..
Hagler looked viscious. Nowadays that look is common, back than it wasn't.

Sitting in front of the TV, bright sunshine outside (it was afternoon in New Zealand), action figures in my hand, copying everything I saw on the box - Lennox Lewis jabbing David Tua relentlessly, live and in color.
I'd assume that I'd seen fights before then, but the first one that always sticks out in my memory is Azumah Nelson vs Jesse James Leija. Can't remember if it was their 1st/2nd/3rd fight, though.
Remember seeing Julio Cesar Chavez around that time, and I was hooked from that point
Nelson will be lost on most.....Ghana's finest
I'm young so... I was in Vegas with my PW football team the weekend of the ODLH-PAC fight.
We were at a restaurant when it went down and I kept watching parts of the fight. I naturally liked ODLH (for some reason) and hated Pacquiao for about three years for what he did :lol1:
When I came back into boxing it was with Bute-Pascal, right in the aftermath of Broner-Maidana, so I caught up quickly.
Haha I became a fan of PAC after he destroyed my fave boxer at the time in hatton....hated him but couldn't deny what I saw
