lol people acting like Brook dominated Porter
The guy won by a Majority decision where one judge had it a draw, like Thurmans victory tonight it was close.
... maybe he didn't dominate him, but he frustrated Porter (and me also)...
Thurman, Spence, hell even Porter could beat him if he gets another crack at him.
Why are people all of a sudden acting like the Porter vs Brook fight didn't have the exact same reaction people are having to this fight?
Brook and Thurmans performances were close, the difference being that Keith didn't clinch most of the fight.
Brook landed far better shots in that fight. I had that 115-113 Brook
Also, Porter landed far better shots in this fight. This was 115/6-113/2 Porter.
I think Brook would beat every welterweight in the world except Spence. Spence would beat Brook and any other welterweight in my honest opinion. Spence has yet to beat anybody that good but I like his combination of speed, skill, punching power and stamina. I am a skinny Yank.
Spence Jr beats him IMO. Thurman has a chance too. Brook did do better then Thurman against Porter but Thurman always seems to land hard clean shots and I don't know if Brooks chin is up to the challenge. Brook is a very good fighter though and has a more then good shot at being number one at welter. That's why Khan wants no part of him. I just think Spence is going to be the new king of welter. Maybe we'll get Thurman/Brook next.:fingersx:
Thurman fought the much better version of Porter. And Thurman wobbled him a few times. Brook just clinched more lol I was ring side. I thought Porter beat Brook
Why is everyone so impressed by Brook? He's beaten one good guy.
Porter is an incredible fighter, and he was undefeated when Brook beat him. I respect one win against a world class opponent then 100 wins vs average opponents.
Brook is 30 and has only fought one elite. That's what I mean by inexperience.
His default level is fighting lighter touches.
He's 30 but probably has a 25 year old body, to this date he has no battle scars
Brook convincingly and comfortably beat Porter
The same can't be said for Thurman.
One good win and then what else? Thurman shares the same win and has done more overall than Kell.
Thurman, Pacquiao, Bradley, Spence, Sammy Vasquez, could all possibly do it. Let's not act like Brook is the clear number one right now and huge favorite over tne division.
Maybe if you watched back you'd realise that was a close fight and Brook didnt dominate. Both guys landed more or less the same number of punches.
Most of the media ringside had Brook winning 115-113, Brook landed the cleaner effective blows but was roughed up whenever they got inside hence why he decided to clinch every single time.
Thurman landed more powershots than Brook and unlike Brook didnt hold Porter inside. Im not saying Thurman had a better performance than Brook, but he did things that Brook couldnt do like fight inside which was impressive to me.
Way too many people are overly harsh towards Thurman for whatever reason, he was great tonight
Don't get me wrong I have so much respect for Porter and Thurman is probably my favourite welterweight right now.. nobody is gonna dominate Porter he is an incredible fighter I just think Brook did a more professional job on him, tonight was entertaining but there was a lot of brawling that's why I think Brook could take Thurman and all the others.
On judge scorecards.. because they are always accurate arnt they? Come on man be real and watch back, Brook did a better job on Porter than Thurman did
