Although Fury said he is injured, sources involved in the fight have told ESPN that he simply was not prepared to fight Klitschko again in just a few weeks. Fury, who has partied hard, has been seen drinking in public and appeared out of shape since winning the title, even grabbing his gut at a recent press event promoting the fight.

Hopefully Fury can get his act together and be able to represent to heavyweight crown in a worthy manner. Rematch could potentially happen in October, according to the article.
You think Fury was ready for the rematch, though? By his own admission, his 'consistency' of form (psychologically too) has left a lot to be desired.
He obviously blew up in between fights (though i think he wasnt that bad for him. He was pushing his gut out at that press conference to make it look worse imo) and tried to make Wlad think he had lost motivation and didnt care.
Most recent pictures of him he looks pretty slim.
If we are looking for reasons to postpone outside of the injury, I think the terrible ticket sales are the way to go. Overpriced and under promoted. The venue would have been half empty come July 9th by most accounts
Does nobody think he's just giving Wladimir a taste of his own medicine? He did this before the first match.
It would serve Wlad right. Test his mental strength by having him start and stop and restart training. All at a time of Fury's choosing.
But I think Tyson genuinely got injured.
Rafael is the last man to be commenting on another mans fitness.
The guy isnt 'prepared' to walk up a flight of stairs ffs

I know a journalist for the daily star who visited Fury in Holland some 3-4 weeks ago. He told me Fury was in his best ever shape.
The likeliness is that Fury started partying after knowing the fight was not going to happen.

Fury looked in a lot better shape in recent weeks. Dare I say, he looked in good shape. Plus, that injury certainly looks real, so I think it's time people stop stoking the flames of useless rumours.

I think that fury's lack of discipline is taking its toll. His body cant follow up massive weight gains/losses.
He has a good chance to beat aging wlad again, but long term he will not last. its not only about training camps, its about his lifestyle. AJ is the man.
He posted a video of him out on the piss last night, bouncing up and down on his supposed injured ankle.
Plenty of people were talking about the fight being postponed a week ago. This hasn't come from nowhere.
You don't think there's a difference between going out and being healthy enough for the biggest fight of your life
So with the injury supported by picture evidence you still
Doubt it.
Check out Peter Fury Twitter if you doubt it
I'm no doctor but it Looks pretty f.ucking real to me
Dans a hack and a embarrassment to the sport.

He had an ankle injury period! It's irrelevant whether he was motivated or not. If he was ready he would be in the ring, he has already provide us with evidence and based on that am giving him a pass, we have boxer (The hacks favourites) who fake injury but do we see this sort of articles from this fat hack? No
He was 40 lbs overweight a couple of weeks ago and I knew he was in trouble. That ankle sprain saved his ass. Now he will probably get even fatter sitting on his ass for another 6 weeks. He lacks the discipline to be a real champion...Cinchko will probably be in even better shape in 3 months and beat him in the rematch...maybe KO him.
They postponed the fight because it barely sold any tickets. Fury's promoter, Fat Mick Hennessey, is the single worst promoter in boxing history. He has no concept of how to promote fights or fighters, hence why virtually every prominent boxer he has had had jumped ship.
I agree with Rafael. Yes the ankle looked bad and he's probably hurt, but I think the main reason was that he wasn't ready. Frank Warren even pointed out a month ago how he thought Team Klitschko was sneaky by prolonging the rematch announcement enough for Fury to get out of shape.
Reminds me of the spoiled Chavez JR! Giving up and postponing fights left and right. Oh my hand, My shoulder, My ankle? Postponing fights 20 days before and more than 30 lbs over weight!

Someone brought up Wlad not "proving" his injury on social media last fall. Well, Tyson didn't post a pic showing inflammation and things that can't be faked. I don't personally believe he faked but my sister in law is a makeup artist and I've seen her paint up stuff that looks just as real.
(don't get crazy, I'm just stirring the pot)
