So I was watching some of Ali's old fights like im sure a lot of his fans have been this week and as I was watching the Foreman fight I kept thinking Foreman looks like hes on some kind of drug or speed. I mean he really did looked drugged. This is nothing new but I came across this article where he says his trainer gave him something that tasted like medicine right before the fight and he thinks its what got him tired. The thing is though I think it did the opposite I think it was some kind of speed. Just watch him before the fight as they are doing anthems and everything guy looks drugged out of his mind. I think Ali beat a George Foreman that was on performance enhancing drugs I dont think it was something that made George a worse fighter.
Just curious if any of you guys ever noticed that in the Ali Foreman fight how much Foreman looked like he was on some kind of speed. heres the article

I think he’s talking about boxing IQ
some fighters are not exactly intelligent out of the ring but have a high ring IQ and vice versa
Foreman then knew nothing more than plough forward and try to land big shots
If he was a smarter fighter, he might have realised Ali was using the ropes as a tactic and stopped just following him to the ropes like a zombie.
Foreman may have taken the wrong tactical approach to fighting Ali and punched himself out, but I don't believe he had a low ring IQ. I believe he was enraged by Ali's antics leading up to the fight and let his emotions get the best of him. They say it's a bad idea for a fighter to get in the ring angry, because the game plan goes out the window.

- - Drugged = Zombie, a big DUH moment for U.
When I first saw the fight on Espn early heydays where they had George as a guest commentator, my first reaction as someone with medical training knowing George style was that he was drugged. I found out later George Plimpton who was sitting with Norm Mailer ringside screamed out about the same moment reality of the fight hit that the fight was fixed.
He said he was drugged by Sadler with foul tasting water he gave him during his normal dehydration phase Sadler always put him on before fights, completely against common sense for the average man much less a fighter in a championship bout.
He never seems to have talked to Sadler again, but Archie as part of that team eventually smoothed things over between the two such that Arch was in his corner when he KOed Moorer.
If U was a smarter poster, U wouldn't be some dead fetid stinking to high heavens clown...
There are countless Foreman interviews and documentaries of this fight. No where Foreman says that he was drugged. If anything he said that he hit Ali as hard as he could and Ali told him "is that all you got?" He got demoralized after that and admits the Ali rope a dope and that he was the dope.
Low IQ huh? As far as I know, Foreman still has all of his faculties and loads of money. Not bad for a man with a "low IQ".

But mate... did you look at the video? Im not trying to put down Alis win, but have a look at the video. Its only for about 20 seconds..
.
I watched the fight, it's not that hard to build a theory around something so many years later, I looked at all of Foreman's wins pre Ali, he was a beast of a man very powerful and just bombed everyone he went into that fight thinking he is going literally kill him, Ali swallowed the shots like a smiling punch bag and George was totally exhausted mentally and physically it affected him deeply, so much so the loss sent him into depression and preaching the bible, I believe it was the exhaustion that these theories try to build on.
What go all out to try and bludgeon a guy that was mocking in him, Ive seen plenty of them, Foreman thought he was king kong and was just going pound Ali into the ground, Ali was one of toughest fighters to ever lace them up he took massive shots during his career and did a Fury stand up every time.

he was just a very low IQ grunt.
wailing with all his power because he was gotten to.
why did he have to follow Ali to the ropes just because Ali waved at him? because he's low iq
- - George used to hold up Ali upright so he could sit in his chair and then tucked in his bib before translating for him. Cut up his steak for him too!
Best friend Ali ever had, and gracious to all.

He looked drugged in the way he fought. I have never seen a boxer fight in such a weird way during a title fight.

Just watched Ali v Foreman again. While on the seat at the beginning of the 4th, Foremans cornerman slipped something into Foremans mouth just before his mouth guard. Saw him do it again in another round. Formen was aware as he chewed whatever was put in his mouth.
Salt tablets? Gummy bears? Vitamin tablets? Pharmaceutical Amphetamines?
Watch at 32.42 Forman opens his mouth for the trainer to insert mouthguard. Trainer stops and remembers he forgot something. He turns and searches for something, then puts something in Foremans mouth that George chews. The trainer then inserts the mouthpiece.. (video should begin at 32.40)
https://youtu.be/55AasOJZzDE?t=1960.
the loose ropes is also on that book.
They also poisoned Foreman's german shepherd and did many strange things.
ya i did hear some weird things happening to both fighters over there. foreman is saying his own trainer gave him something tho not ali which would mean it was to help his performance not hurt hm
