When I heard Povetkin was below the allowable limit of 1-1.5 I was sure the fight was still going to continue. After that's really not an amount that would have an impact on the fight imo. Especially for a drug that's proven not to be very effective. Reminds me of the Berto Ortiz rematch that was supposed to take place in 2012 where Berto got popped but it was for such a small amount and I didn't understand why they cancelled the fight. In the end Povetkin deserves the blame here. It's a shame because this was a very winnable fight for him and now it looks like he'll have to really work his way back.

contamination? that's what almost all of them say are we just going to ignore the fact that he tested clean for the prior tests just a few days before? that is a perfect example of how low his levels were to begin with, that they weren't even showing up on prior tests. only until that latest test it showed TINY TRACE AMOUNTS.
