Boxing doesn't need Broner, hell boxing doesn't need any one specific guy. But if anything he's been overrated anyway so he holds lil value to boxing. He's a novelty item more than a special fighter. He's still a young guy so its possible he can change his story, but right now he's mostly just a novelty act who's come up short when it mattered. Broner is far from a novelty act he's 26 with 2 losses to Porter (one of the best in his class) an maidana.
