In slow motion is the fight still going on?
In real time both fighters are retired. Can we move on to the next generation of hungry fighters???
Or do we need HBO or Showtime to create new legends.
We got some mean young dudes that are fvcking gun slingers!!!
Since I am a fan of boxing more than I am any one fighter, I'll answer this AGAIN. The BS that went on May 2nd, is unacceptable. Period. One fighter was treated unfairly, spied on in camp, denied Gatorade, vitamins, a pain shot for his already injured right shoulder. Kenny Bayless was at Floyd's house having dinner 3-4 months before the fight. Floyd weighed in and then injected 750ml of saline into his body. The judges score cards say that they were paid off. Bayless going to a fighter's house should be illegal unless that fighter is retired. Floyd did nothing in the fight to convince me that he was better than Manny. Instead, I was more impressed with the way Manny came forward the entire fight, making Floyd miss, countering him with clean/effective shots, and even out defending him. Floyd is a FULL weight class bigger than Manny but never tried to back up his words that the fight would be exciting. Any other Legend, ATG, HOF'mer is coming to win. Floyd's fighting style is cringe worthy. He is allowed to get away with excessive holding, forearming, and bending below the waist. He came to survive, not to win. So, in a fight where both fighters are Champions, how did he win? I tell you one thing, I DARE him to fight Manny under fair circumstances, he is getting beat the F up, just like Bradley just did, AGAIN! A rematch should be mandatory. I get flack for saying that it seems you always have to cheat or have numerous advantages, in order to beat Manny. I'm not kidding. I believe that. The last time I seen this man defeated on even terms was against Morales, way back in 2005. He didn't lose to Bradley, Roidquez juiced in the 4th fight, and Floyd juiced amongst other things.
That is what hurts. If Manny had lost fairly, I would've said that. He didn't lose and was treated unfairly on top of that. But you idiots praise Floyd. For what??????????????? You all talk as much BS as he does, but never back it up with fighting in the ring or facts. Boxing lost it's remaining credibility on May 2nd. That was a lost chance to win over UFC fans and boxing casuals. It would've made lesser known fighters STARS in the future. It would've made people watch boxing on regular TV again( PBC, CBS, Spike, and Fox). So, you ask am I hurt because Manny didn't get the decision? Nope. I'm hurt as a fan of boxing. The BS that is allowed by Floyd. No other fighter gets away with bringing in a drug agency that has never been heard of before( USADA). Choosing your opponent's gloves, trunks, etc. I am glad he is retired. Manny's place in history is WAY higher. I am talking top 10. Floyd isn't even top 20 all-time.
What a ****ing sissy.
thanks....how sweet of you....
i have to return the gesture, yes?
so, how were your sessions in mandaluyong? ha ha ha (joke)
My boss told me to delay my trip. My buddy ended up going alone and loving the Philippines!
I kinda knew you weren't, but I had to check!

Some have not left that moment since it happened. Some cats are stuck in May 2015 like Groundhogs day. Its a crazy & mysterious phenomenon.
Groundhog Day!!! Exactly.
Btw, love that girls panda azz!
For groups 2 and 3 the pain has only worsened over time. Luckily for them, their newfound love for GGG and Kovalev acts as a filter that lets them forget about Pac's loss from time to time. But that's still better than the Pac fans who stopped watching boxing entirely after the loss. It showed that they only really cared about one fighter and not the sport itself.
Yeah, they want to see Floyd fight GGG, but not Manny! They sure are
fair and unbiased. They hate on Ward, and want him to fight Kov.
Depends what type of pac fan we are discussing.
1. Boxing fans that like Pac
2. nationalistic and crazy diehard pac fans
3. fans that hate Floyd/black fighters
For group #1 the pain was over quickly. Pac lost they moved on a week or so later. For group #2 and #3, they are still in pain if we go by the threads and posts we see daily here on NSB. They wanted Pac to win for reasons other than just boxing so for them the loss stings so much more.

I'm telling you, when your girl isn't around you have to beat Jhonny with a damn shoe.
To answer your question Zaroku, it really doesn't hurt. It was such a crap fight and they both disappointed so it doesn't even matter.
Bums.
My girl is going away for two days to visit her parents. I thought I would get my shot and Jhonny, but she is taking him with her!
That fight was Pac's shot at redemption. That's why it hurts them so.
He'd let everyone down; he was sold to the public as some rocky underdog story, but in reality he beat a weight drained, shot DLH and then after a couple good wins he started to blow off his training, gambled all his money away, became a fanatical weirdo (probably always was one), and, worst off all, fought lesser competition than Mayweather, despite Pac fans writing millions of articles/posts trying to frame it any other way and calling Mayweather the coward.
Mayweather-Pacquiao was a chance to erase all that. But he blew it, and to add insult to injury he didn't even own it; tried to use a David Haye-esque excuse to demand a rematch.
Shameful all around.
PAC's excuses got him sued by fans who bet on him!

Agreed group 2 and group 3 can't move on.
It is really amazing!

They were so devastated and saddened by that L. :lol1:
To this day they still don't know what to do with themselves. They were like "should I just stop watching boxing altogether or give it one more shot with GGG?"
Exactly! Spoon spamming NSB with slow motion highly biased videos. Most of the other PAC fans are hardcore GGG fans! Now they dream about GGG fighting Floyd, but not fighting PAC, that is how fair they are!!
