According to his amateur records on boxrec.
So he has not really been in one weight class all his boxing career. Just pointing it out for those who do not know.

That's a bunch of BS! You know damn well he had no problems carrying 160 lbs. as a 12 year old! #fact
the nerve of GGG, not drying himself out to 154 or 147 earlier in his career in order to take advantage of smaller opponents..........
I know, he waits until his mid 30s to call them out instead.
lol...damn...

I guess we have different definitions of what a "call out" is.
Personally I've never considered the act of answering a reporters question to be a "call out". Maybe its just me though.......
I'm just wondering since GGG and I are the same age why in da fawk is his middle school picture black and white. That's not him, *****s trying to trick me. Nobodies elementary school picture should look like a collectable and worth money. :boxing:
It's a Kazakhstan right after USSR collapsed, no market economy no capitalism, nothing, what do you want? People barely had money to eat. Can you imagine an inflation of 2000%?

It looks like it's from a yearbook.
139, 147, 156 & 165?
I don't think this sorta thing is uncommon. What is uncommon is GGG being within 3 or 4lbs or so in all his pro fights over a decade plus.

How do you think amateur sports work? What an asinine statement.
That's how they work, there's no draining down since you weigh in and fight every couple of days. 152 fight night is LW or jww in the pros
Floyd fought at 106 as a 16 year old and moved all the way to 154 to win a title.
RJJ fought at 119 as a 15 year old and went all the way to HW.
Manny fought at 105 as a 16 year old and moved all the way to 150 to win a title.
Guys naturally grow as they get older.
Holy sh*t Roy Jones is an 11 weight world champion!
Super Bantam to Heavyweight.
GOAT.

Only thing is "WHO HAS GGG BEATEN?" talk about paper champ..his WBA title was a "VACANT TITLE" and he won the IBF from Lemiuex who won a "VACANT" title..GGG'S entire title collection is paper
It's not only about the lineage, it's what you do with it. For example Cotto was lineal, but clearly Ggg The Man at MW. You have beltholders that started out legit, then delegitimized their once legit belts into paper, like Stevenson or Floyd at 154

Thats when he started his amateur career, so technically he has fought at multiple weight classes. The thread starter was right
