Jacobs better get back in the ring , Jacobs shouldn't wait for GGG , Jacobs is the 3rd option (WBC & WBO champion are his first) He hasnt fought in almost a year, waiting 2 more weeks to have the chance to fight for the real MW championship belt and getting to fight one of the biggest stars in the sport should be worth it.

I've always said that Jacobs is the toughest challenge for GGG at middleweight. He has the power and the skills to make it one hell of a fight and if anyone can put GGG down its Jacobs. forget Canelo, forget BJS... they have the belts and they are good fighters and Canelo is the biggest name but the toughest one would be Jacobs.

Jacobs has had 32 fights and been dropped twice. You guys and this chin schit Caleb Truax also hurt him. But that's not how you tell if a fighter has a weak chin, by just saying "Oh 30 fights and only been down 3 times". Right from the start you have to eliminate more than half of those 30 fights due to them being "bummy" fights. Fights where you are not even supposed to go down. First step up fight was his 19th fight, Ishe Smith, that's where you start.

If only Jacobs had a chin, this would be a great fight. It's a good fight still but I can't see Jacobs chin holding up to Golovkin's power and see him getting stopped early. Barely held up to Mora's power, so yeah you are right. Let's just hope he can make it a little exciting where Lemiuex failed to, and that's land something good consistently.

There is a difference between Haymon making fights with intended cannon fodder like Martin, Wade or C level no hopers compared to boxers he views as valuable even within PBC ranks. I don't think he would make that fight in general but thankfully the WBA trinket makes it a mandatory and forces their hand. We should see it before 2016 is out or he'll have to pull a Quillin and drop his strap.
