Even in defeat Hopkins would make Lil' Gina look bad, he'd be eating the straight right and getting tied up all night.
Are you 12? Do you really think that's clever?
Just for reference, there was a thread about 3 months ago where Loeffler said they'd consider Hopkins as an opponent. The lot of you gave him flak for picking on a 50 year old man.
Now that they don't want him, it's a duck.
B1tches gotta b1tch.
Hopkins would be absolutely destroyed
Hopkins is quite a bit bigger and would tie GGG up like a pretzel , today at 50 and carrying more experience than any fighter in the game Benny is epitome of a spoiler , GGG would not fight him .
sure but the difference is kovalev is willing to take the fights. lil g on the other hand wont, he needs catchweigth for this figther but not for this figther, he can make this weigth for this fighter but cant make it for this fighter, blah blah blah.
let me know when lil g actually faces someone.
To take the fights? Why is he fighting Chilemba next then and not Stevenson? Did we really ask for a Pascal rematch? Cmon dude! I like Kovalev too but that's how I see it.
Hopkins beats him, he wouldn't be undersized like he was at light heavy, he'd be bigger/stronger and just better than anyone lil g has ever faced at mw.
Hopkins controls the center of the ring like he did against Pavlik, and unloads on lil g at will, probably even stopping him.
They just came out rubbishing Bhop , do you think its fair to make a 50 yr old wait till he is 55 ?
Eh, don't even think I'd make this match if I were GGG. Everyone will just talk about how BHop is old, coming off of a shutout loss, been inactive since that fight etc. Wouldn't be worth much on his resume.
Didn't GGG's team say they'd fight him at 168 if his unification options didn't pan out?

lol and to think that would be lil g best name on his resume.
Hopkins is a great name on anyones resume , at 168 -172 I think Hopkins would be a nightmare for GGG even as a 50 yr old , says a lot about Hopkins he is one of a kind .
