Like me for example I don't Like how he gets to pick and choose the weakest opponents. But I will admit he always goes for the KO.
what in saying Is I can see why people are enamored by him he gets KOs that's exciting to some catches their eye.
Are non ggg fans missing out on anything by not watching his fights?
Now you sound like a 5 yr old , Ward was there and GGG went oh you special drama weight , only retired Froch 168 -172
Oh Brook he is too small for drama show I want smaller guys make little drama show .
Oh Ramirez , no big name like Wade , HOF open for Wade .
Fck off !
Froch is a big name and a proven legend of the sport unlike Ward, Ward has done nothing to say he deserved 50/50 If he was giving GGG 80/20 then yes you have a point but for 50/50 and for someone to move up for him absolute joke of an offer for a small nobody fighter.
Great fighters prove themselves by going where the big fights are at and what did Ward do, he moved away from the big fight this is fact :) look how ordinary Ward looked against an opponent weaker than Wade he actually went twelve rounds with him haha!
I think we should tax Ward for each time he says Golovkin name, the jealousy is real and he knows mentioning the best fighter right now is the easy way to market his nobody name.
If they are willing to fight him where they at then?
Ones down at 155lbs and the other is hiding in arguably the weakest division right now aka 175lbs apart from 3/4 boxers that division is drab.

Don't forget that Canelo is and will be the middleweight lineal champ with or without a belt on his waist until he looses. Lil G will be stuck fighting the Andy Lee's of the world while Canelo will add another HOF in his resume in Pacquiao. Until Lil G dares to be great and fight actual opposition that aren't tailor made for him such as Lara who's style Lil G never face in the pro's then I will consider him a P4P fighter but not now.
OK that's fine but nobody cares about your rankings. And nobody would care about that most discredited lineal belt of all time. You fight 1lb above lower weight, duck a mando who happens to be #1 contender in every ranking and peoples champ, you get stripped, and you're no champ, sorry. Lineal chump maybe?
Forget the fantasy kid , the facts say he beats up cans and avoids real fighters that are willing to fight him .

GGG is the god among men of boxing, he beats up those tricky opponents others such as Ward would go the full 12 rounds with this is what makes him world class and such rabble like Canelo and Andre Fraud okay fighters.

They have resumes they make GGG look like Butterbean , best he fight at least one elite fighter before he retires Wade wont make it into the HOF .
Fanboys like you are the scourge of boxing because they condone total miss matches and ducking of real fights , the crap coming out of GGGs mouth is pathetic and Floyd Manny Bradley Ward etc could never get away with it , at 35 GGG is beating guys that they fought in their first 10 fights .

They didn't say anything about the split, and the only bizarre weight demand is from Canelo, the Lineal Champ

They're complaining about everything already like the weight and split. Also abel and gg have been very disrespectful about canelo. Team canelo never said anything bad about them

For sure a detriment. Most people grew sick of buying PPV to watch Tyson either blow someone out in a mismatch or give up mentally. Boxing hasn't had a shortage of stars or elite fighters since then. I won't even list any names. The point is though, that boxing hasn't been sellable on a large scale to the general public because they have no faith in it's entertainment value. I blame a lot of that on Tyson. It's funny now that GGG is drawing comparisons to him.
You blame the most entertaining and popular fighter in past 30 years for the lack of popularity of boxing post his retirement. It's an odd argument. Seems like it'd be better if another Tyson came about, more interest.
Wtf are you taking about!

The hope was the Born Ready Canelo would buck the trend and face him, esp with the mando and threat of strippage.
It's kinda difficult to agree when team gg makes all these bizarre demanda
I grew up watching Tyson like many other people on here. Now that I'm older, I often look at Tyson as a bigger detriment to this sport than the mafia was. The man took the PPV format and **** on it by biting ears and quitting on his stool. Look at post Tyson viewership numbers, and you start to see exactly what impact he had on casual boxing fans. Most people believe that boxing is fixed because of mismatches. GGG fighting Monroe and Wade only echoes that sentiment.
I don't believe that we'll ever see GGG's heart challenged, simply because he'll never have a need to challenge himself. Why push yourself when the money comes so easy?
Another great post. Boxing was better and bigger back in the 80s
Really, detriment? The last boxer that was a household name the world over. The numbers would pick up quick if another Tyson came out of Bk. You mean boxing should have no major stars else it's all downhill from there?
The bar for challenging himself is pretty high, like a lesser draw p4per 15lbs heavier but eventually HBO will want him vs Kov/Ward and he's never said no to them

We have to figure out what makes someone a "BOXING FAN" because all I see on this forum is BOXER FANS. Guys who are here for 1 Fighter and they will Suck that 1 Fighter off until he loses they once he lose they jump to the Next Undefeated Fighter that is Not American :lol1:
I like GGG, love watching him fight but does that mean I can't point out the weak resume and tell other fans that his resume has to get better to consider him great? Apparently doing that makes people less of a boxing fan when yet those same fans turn around and do it to every other fighter not named GGG
The Standard and The Bar has to be set the same for EVERYBODY, you can't move it down for your favorite fighter then move it up higher for guys YOU DON'T LIKE! A lot of you guys you know who you are you do that. You have double even triple standards and you set it based on who you like and don't like
Preach on brother Sicko! Nothing but truth falling out of your mouth!
The sport won't survive on connoisseurs with those lofty standards. The masses love it

There's very little substance to the man. All I see is a man who's team has created a very clever narrative to promote him. I fail to see any virtue in wanting to unify a division with little to no competition. It's boxing, money talks and bull**** walks. If he wanted a big fight, his team could have bucked up by now. Instead, he has chosen to ride the mandatory/nobody wants to fight me claim all the way to the bank.
It also doesn't help that his fights are unwatchable. The mismatches are something within themselves. What's worse, is trying to decipher what Lampley is saying with GGG's dick in his mouth. The HBO broadcast team sounds like they're pushing a product on an infomercial.
Great post I agree
Personally, I don't think that we'll ever see GGG vs. Canelo. And I'm not blaming Canelo either. I'd point the finger at Oscar. Canelo is his main investment, and that investment isn't going to get flushed down the toilet that easy.
