No Michael Buffer last night

It was a No Trump undercard, "Quien es el mas macho" fit better. That's what I thought. Mexican announcer for the 'No Trump'-undercard.

I know he was in London. But it was a little weird not seeing him at a Pac fight. I think this was only the second time Buffer did not do a Pac fight since Pac became a main event fighter in the US (the other time was Pac-Mosley when it was on Showtime so Lennon Jr. was the guy). But yeah, either Buffer was offered bigger money to do the Joshua fight or Arum wants to build Lupe Contreras. It was a No Trump undercard, "Quien es el mas macho" fit better.

Buffer was at the other fight because they paid him, he goes where the money is. The real question was his normal fee raised to appear as part of a bidding war that arum lost? Or did arum and company simply not want him because they went cheaper to try and limit their losses for a ppv that most felt was going to struggle anyways.

Eddie Hearn was not going to leave anything out for Joshua's world title fight. He wanted it to be as big and important as possible, that meant paying whatever cash was needed to get Buffer over. Unfortunately, that left the Pac fight with a woeful replacement. He was useless.
