As previously reported, trainer Freddie Roach has vowed to back Manny Pacquiao if the boxer decides to take advantage of rule changes which could see professional fighters allowed to take part in this summer's Olympics. Click Here To Read More]
yeah
everybody knows Floyd punches like a girl
so no risk of him hurting them kids
Pacquiao on the other hand, could seriously injure someone if he gets feisty
ha ha ha ha ha!
what a gem!
so they just have to stipulate that only pros who hit like a girl, hugs like a girl, run like a girl and maybe giggle like a girl will be allowed to fight the young boys....
more hugging and PINCHING? of cute little boys!
What if Floyd gets in the Olympics too?
I predict this whole pros in the olympics thing will dive down the first time two decently known pros end up fighting each other in the olympics for free and realized they just lost a lot of money.
Yeah what if pac and floyd both went in the olympics at the same weight class, they end up fighting for free, theyd be pretty pissed at that, they probably would drop out and rematch for $100m instead.
Arum has a problem with this couse he can't make no money off pacquiao.the Olympics is the best competing against the best.basketball, baseball allows professional athletes to compete, for years other countries have been doing it,old guys beating on our young U.S. boxing team.cubans are the poster child for this.other countries have followed, that's why rigo and lomachenko were able to fight for titles and were at championship level ,these dudes won a trillion gold medals ,lomachenko was 1-0 and fighting for a title unheard of,same with rigo he had a few fights and was ready because of his old ass beating teens and competing in every Olympic .it would be fun to see a broner loose,or a salka upset win for a gold medal.bullsshhtt arum there's no money in it for you.
Wasn't Salads like 50 pounds heavier ? Amateur bouts you must weigh in the same day of the fight why do you think Gary Russell was passed out when he couldn't make 123 pounds
Oh come on, 50 pounds? :lol1:
No need to exaggerate like that.
Fighters like Rigo and Loma can't even handle the Salidos of the world until they adjust to the pro game. How could they possibly handle someone like Manny Pacquiao?
You do realize the referees in the amateurs are much more strict than the referee's in the pro game, right? The referee's in the amateurs actually follow the rules and warn fighters for illegal tactics.
Salido would have been DQ'd in the first round if he were fighting in the amateurs.
How is that any different then what the Cuban national team has been doing for the past 50 years?
Felix Savon was 33 years old when he was beating up on 18 and 19 year olds.
If you're worried about the age gap, it's been an issue for years. Now that the pros want to try it he has a huge complaint?
The Cubans boxing in Cuba have no other option if they want to stay in Cuba and box... To a certain degree, that's understandable.

Those 30 year old Cubans are still fighters without any pro experience, so there is at least some chance. Pro fighters are a huge jump in ability from any 30 year old Cuban fighter.
What if it is the other way around and some lil olympic kid beats him up? What if he runs into a Rigondeux, Lomo, or Glolovkin type? I would be laughing my LMAO!

Taking away headgear and throwing amateurs in with Manny Pacquiao is asking for tragedy. It's completely absurd.
I can't understand how boxing fans, like this site is supposed to be, don't recognize the huge difference between amateurs and pros. Even the best amateurs of all time can't handle world class fighters for a while, and most need lots of experience just to handle journeymen. The average amateur is pathetically outclassed against world class pros.
Pacquaio is wash up 3 round fights are much different than a 12. Just look how a 17 year old Benevedies school'd Pacquaio when they spared and no Pacquaio wasn't taking easy that's why he did his double slap of the ears cause he was embarrass that a kid was schooling him
Manny Pacquaio would be a complete coward ass bully if he beats up on little ass amateurs in the Olympics. What a joke this guy is.
Pacquiao should be ashamed of himself.
