SOG showed us nothing tonight. He's a good boxer but once Krusher puts that Russian heat on him he's gonna fold just like the rest of them. Look how marked up his face was after fighting a C+ bum.
Krusher was all smiles when the cameras was in his face cause he knows, I know it, we all know it that once the two step in the ring SOG gonna be flat on his back by round 6.
Well yea its a 62yr old Bhop. Kov shoulda stopped him truth be told, defense or nah. I didn't articulate it well, but what I'm suggesting is Ward is kinda like the new Bhop & if old Bhop can survive then I'm fairly confident a prime Ward can survive if he gets into any tight spots while also mounting a offense in less dire times. I don't see this as a one sided fight either way basically. I think we got some delusional fans on both sides who think its either gonna be a KO3 for Kov or a 11-1 decision for Ward. I think the outcome will fall somewhere in the middle.
Kovalev dropped Hopkins in the first, and carried him for the rest of the fight out of pure respect. The moment that Hopkins decided to be funny in the 12 and stick his tounge out at kov,the krusher proceeded to beat him from ring post to ring post. As for kov-ward,ward better sharpen back up quick, because if he brings that kind of game against kovalev,he will be stopped.

Anyone who says they are so absolutely sure about a result who doesn't sell all (or a major portion) of their belongings, go to Vegas and lay it on the line ... isn't as sure as they claim.
I do think Kovalev will finish Ward. Ward's difficult style will allow him to hang in there for a while but he'll get stopped late, he's not used to getting hit consistently by such accurate heavy hands.
Who wouldn't have a smile? He basically secured a nice payday & I believe his first US PPV fight cuz Ward won.
I'm curious how well Ward deals with Kov's power. I feel like he's a younger Bhop in many ways & an old Bhop went 12 with Kov so I think Ward can too. With that being the case I just think its ultimately about who's the better boxer. I think Ward is for sure the better boxer, but how much does Kov's superior power negate Ward's higher boxing IQ when Kov does land? Its an interesting fight I feel. I'm leaning Ward's way, but Kov doesn't suck at boxing himself + his power is a game changer potentially in this fight.
The only reason Hopkins lasted 12 with Kovalev was because he was in defensive mode ever since his KD... If Hopkins even made a slight attempt to fight Krusher....well you know.
Without a doubt lol. Ward is trash, like seriously. Barrera is a D level fighter and he sucks badly. I haven't seen a stiffer/slower LHW in a long time. Pure crap.
