I see people here talking nonsense about Golovkin being handled titles.
Using that logic, I want to know what did Floyd Mayweather jr do to get a chance for the lineal 130 lb title against Hernandez. At that point Floyd had beaten all bums with no record. He was 17-0 and ALL were bums. But real bums. Look at their records. And don't talk to me about him looking special in fights cuz so does GGG. And don't talk to me about having a great amateur career with a medal at the olympics cuz do so did GGG.
And then some of you stupid Mayweather fans have the balls to say that Floyd wasn't handled anything... that he had a rough path. Then what about GGG? Tell me another joke please you ignorant fools!

how much dumber do you want to look man?
Common Larry, don't act as if you parents were brothers. You're basically saying he was given chances but not in his division. Not the same scenario.
Mayweather moved up to get more chances...you are embarrassing yourself more and more
You are dumber. Castillo is shorter and has less reach.
height 5′ 7½″ / 171cm
reach 69″ / 175cm
Go check boxrec assh0le. http://boxrec.com/boxer/8837

Height 5 ft 7 1⁄2 in (171 cm)
Reach 69 in (175 cm)

But I guess one screenshot is right and everyone else is wrong.
Do the people (just like you and me) who write up Wikipedia go measure fighters personally? The networks weigh and measure them or get measurements from the commission.
So, he makes you look dumb by pointing out Castillo was actually bigger than Floyd then you bring up other irrelevant sh*t?
Bigger? heavier he was, but not bigger. Do you read properly?
What makes boxrec more credible? Do they personally go measure each fighter in their database?
Ok you also have Wikipedia, google, or any other website.

Castillo was a man with four losses, was shorter and had shorter arms too. And Floyd lost that fight lol. SU.

Ward damn sure gave him a chance and he declined it..Hell Canelo gave him a chance at 155 and he declined it..Hell he is getting another chance but is declining the 10 million...how many damn chances do you want him to have?

Tranquilo Maxi, aquí odian a GGG por que ha destruido *****s.
But well, I agree with you in this time.
both were 5'8 and Castillo had a 70 inch reach..you are making yourself look dumber and dumber

Zero embarrased. People don't go there and vacate titles they won. If they do it, it's for a reason. Maybe they don't wanna face the guy they have to face as mandatory. Go figure.
And I never said Mayweather was gifted a titled. But he was given the chance to fight for it. Something Golovkin was never given.

No because 8 pounds aren't 5 pounds. And Floyd at 135 was still taller and had more reach than most people there. He wasn't outsized. In fact he had to move up to 135 later.
It is weight classes..not height a reach classes man..and Castillo outweighted Floyd by a nice amount
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/dBjDiAROvdU/hqdefault.jpg
not to mention he moved up 4 more weight classes after the hernandez fight looking for challenges ggg stays at the same the comparison is stupid period
bu bu bu he unifying doe
dey ducking doe
translation: he hasnt fought anyone elite and he wont move up because their is a possibility he would lose to DeGale, Jack, and others over 160

Ok. I really don't see why you referenced Floyd on this. The reality of the sport is some guys get shots early because they have a powerful promoter or because they are polular and bring a huge fanbase that makes everyone money and some have to wait a long time like Hagler.

Mayweather officially won a close fight, which i made a thread about, many posters scored it and shared their cards...... cleared things up in the rematch with a clear cut win.
size in muscle density, bone density, weight, and mass.....Castillo was the bigger man and you look like a dumb azz trying to dispute that
3 of those 4 losses were to former world title holders
he was 24 in the last loss and pup in the other ones to the former champions
Castillo had for losses earlier in his career and was on a good run which would continue until the epic fight with Corrales which marked the end of his time as an elite fighter and the best lightweight of the era...early 2000s
your revisonist history sucks...you literally are one of the worst posters on here...you tired of getting schooled yet?
Floyd fought Hernandez in his 18th fight. Golovkin is 34-0. Lets compare Floyd's opponents from number 19 to number 34 and see how it compares to Golovkin's fights from 19 to 34.
The biggest joke on this page is a guy named Maxi!

Maxi, are you the least bit embarrassed by this thread? I get you were mad so you made the thread. Didn't it dawn on you that comparing a 21 yr old with a 34 yr old, given the context, was a little crazy?
GGG was given 2 titles in the boardroom. Even if you think it is unfair for a poster to point that out its true. I can't see how a poster needling you about this causes you to create a thread like this.
